Why Creative Miracles Are Available to All Believers

Because Jesus was raised from the dead, we can now experience the fullness of His resurrection life! He provides us with the great exchange: He gives us His spiritual and physical life in place of our spiritual and physical death.

Today, we can live according to His life in us, receiving all the benefits of His work on our behalf, including salvation, healing and freedom from the devil’s oppression.

The Scriptures tell us: “If the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead lives in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit that lives in you” (Rom. 8:11). When Jesus died, He carried all of our sins and all of our sicknesses. In my ministry, I have seen physical healings by Jesus’s resurrection power in the lives of the people for whom we pray in His name.

Creative Miracles

For example, a Venezuelan woman named Eusselin had suffered from degenerative rheumatoid arthritis for 23 years. During the last year of her illness, she was bedridden. As she searched for a solution, the doctors operated on her knees, but she later suffered the total wearing down of her right hip bone, and, in just a few months, she was wheelchair-bound. She was unable to get out of the chair on her own or even place her feet on the floor. Furthermore, she suffered from kidney problems and had to start using diapers because she couldn’t control her bladder.

It was in this condition that Eusselin went to the home of a believer who had invited her to watch a healing service broadcast from our Miami church via satellite. During the time of worship, I began to declare the power of Christ’s Resurrection. As Eusselin watched from Venezuela, she heard God’s voice audibly telling her, “Rise up from the wheelchair!” Immediately, she stood up! The next thing she did was use the bathroom. She was instantly healed of both diseases, having experienced creative miracles in her right hip and her kidney. Later, her entire family came to believe in the living Jesus and in His power to do miracles.

Raised From the Dead

The resurrection life of Jesus even raises the dead today. Here is the testimony of César, a Peruvian pastor: “I was hospitalized in Lima, Peru, because my coronary artery was blocked, and I needed bypass surgery. During the operation, after my chest had been open for three hours, I suffered a heart attack and died. I was dead for a period of one hour.

“Later, the doctors told me that my heart had stopped beating and that my wife had been informed that I had died due to complications during surgery. My wife told me afterward that prior to the surgery, she had felt deep within her that I would die but that I would also be resurrected. She made a covenant with God through a Christian television program and shared the covenant with an administrator of that program who was also a friend of hers. Together with the leaders from our church, this administrator helped my wife to pray for me.

“During the hour in which I was dead, Apostle Guillermo Maldonado was on his television program praying for healing, decreeing that all the sick would rise and be healed. At that moment, I came back to life. Jesus Christ resurrected me! My wife and the doctors were amazed. One of the signs that will follow those who believe in Christ is that the dead will resurrect. I am one of them!”

In another case, a 20-month-old baby named Kevin suffered a high fever with convulsions and was hospitalized in Chicago. The doctors determined that his organs were weak, and soon the heart monitor registered that the baby had suffered a heart attack.

As hard as they tried, the doctors were unable to save the boy, and they pronounced him dead. The baby’s mother held her deceased son in her arms, and she phoned the baby’s grandmother, a believer who lived in Florida. Immediately, the grandmother contacted her pastor, who is associated with King Jesus Ministry. The pastor began to pray through the telephone for the baby, rebuking the spirit of death and declaring life in the name of Jesus.

Suddenly, the grandmother began to scream because she was informed that the baby’s monitor was registering heartbeats again. The breathing pump also began to work, indicating that the baby was breathing again. Color returned to his face, and his body temperature normalized. Kevin had come back to life after 11 minutes of being clinically dead!

Receive the Exchange Jesus Offers

I continually witness miracles of salvation, healing and deliverance that Christ’s death and Resurrection bring to the lives of those who accept Him as Lord and Savior. If sickness has robbed your health, if bitterness has taken your joy, if your inability to restore your relationship with your spouse, children or parents has discouraged you; or if it seems impossible for you to overcome the spiritual void within you, the solution is to receive the exchange Jesus offers.

Many people in this world suffer greatly. They endure much pain, abuse, rejection and loneliness, not knowing that Jesus gave up His life to give them freedom and peace. Jesus wants to make Himself real in your heart today, manifesting His transforming power—first in your spirit, and then in your relationships, finances, health, vocation and all other aspects of your life.

Jesus will not only give life to our mortal bodies today, but when He comes to earth a second time to judge the world and to gather those who believe in Him to be with Him always, each believer will be transformed to be like Him, receiving a glorified, eternal body!

“We shall not all sleep [die], but we shall all be changed—in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality” (1 Cor. 15:51–53) {eoa}
