The king is enthralled by your beauty; honor him, for he is your lord. —Psalm 45:11
How do you think God sees you? Do you cringe at the thought? God is not the cold, aloof, rigidly legalistic being that religion has made Him out to be. He is not the demanding, impatient God so many of us have struggled to please. Oh, how the Lord longs for His church to receive a revelation of His ravished heart—filled with delight for us—even though we may not like or believe in ourselves. How His heart aches for us to become aware of His desire for us (Ps. 45:11).
{ PRAYER STARTER }
God, may I never forget how You long to have an intimate, personal relationship with me. I want to spend time in Your presence. I want my life to be absorbed in Your love, Your will, and Your beauty.
Our God is not a thing or an it. He is an affectionate,
loving, deeply passionate being.
