Prayer that Gets Results

by | Jun 14, 2010 | Bible Study

(PART 1)

Prayer without faith is like life without blood. One is bound to the other. To do the “greater things” Jesus promised, we must exercise true faith in prayer.

READ: Ps. 2:8; Hab. 2:4; Matt. 8:5-10; Matt. 9:22,29; Luke 11:9; Heb. 11:6.
HEART ISSUE: What has been your definition of faith?
PRAYER FOCUS: Father, thank You for walking with me one day at a time. Show me where my heart is not operating in the kind of faith that pleases You. Cleanse me of all unbelief and use my life for Your glory. Amen.

(PART 2)

The Lord desires for us to commune with Him in prayer. The oneness of the Father and the Son is our example as we fully surrender our hearts and lives to Him.

READ: 1 Kin. 8:22-30; 2 Chr. 7:12-15; Neh. 1:11; John 15:4-7; Rom.12:12; James 5:15.
HEART ISSUE: How have you responded most often when invited to partake of the Lord’s fellowship?
PRAYER FOCUS: Father, thank You for the fellowship of Your Holy Spirit within me. Lead me away from unbelief, so that I can have joyous communion in the light of Your love. Amem.
