Pulse Founder Presses for a Modern-Day Pentecost

Nick Hall, founder of Pulse, has a vision to see 1 million people standing in unity for Christ. On July 16, 2016, the Together 2016 event will invite Christians worldwide to stand together on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. To promote the event, Hall has teamed up with popular Christian speakers and musicians, including Francis Chan, Ravi Zacharias, Hillsong United, Lecrae and Kari Jobe.

For the last 10 years, Hall has been praying for America’s revival. He has been studying and trying to learn what made events such as Billy Graham’s crusades and Explo ’72 successful. Hall believes this event, which will unify believers in many denominations, could be the event that triggers national revival.

“We need a modern-day reformation,” Hall says. “Reset is a different word for reformations. Supernatural reset we talk about all the time. We need a modern-day Pentecost.”

Hall says the movement has been “100 percent” inspired by the Holy Spirit.

“From the idea’s birth, God has moved in our hearts,” he said. “The Holy Spirit opened doors and gave us divine favor, unity, partnership and collaboration. I really believe this is something so much bigger than us. The only explanation is God is doing something. God is inviting our nation back.”
