In September, we celebrated Rosh Hashanah, the Hebraic new year. We are now nearly two months into the Hebrew year 5781 and one year deeper into the decade of Pey ( פ ), which is the decade of the mouth. The Lord released a word during the Fall Feasts: “Speak to the rock of our salvation.”
God is speaking and wants us to speak too. To prophesy means to speak and decree. The released word for 5781 aligns with God’s divine calendar and the decade of the ’80s for us to speak.
Therefore, if we are to speak to and be in alignment with the rock, we must prophesy His promises, putting Him into remembrance of His Word.
“Put Me in remembrance; let us contend together; state your case, that you may be acquitted.” (Isa. 43:26, ESV).
Let us not forget that because we are under the blood of Yeshua, we can boldly approach the throne of grace, confidently stating our case knowing we will be given a verdict of not guilty!
So then, what prophetic promises from God can we stand firm in during these times? And what promises can we proclaim as His children, brought together under the blood?
7 Prophetic Promises to Proclaim and Stand Firm In
- Proclaim your identity in Christ. Let us not forget who we are in Christ. Let us proclaim our identity!
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new” (2 Cor. 5:17, NKJV).
“so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace” (Eph. 2:15b).
- Proclaim the Lord as your refuge and strength. Let us not forget that the Lord is unchanging. He is always our place of refuge and strength. Therefore, we can walk in victory without fear.
“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear, even though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; though its waters roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with its swelling. Selah” (Ps. 46:1-3).
- Proclaim the Lord’s benefits. Let us not forget the benefits of the Lord. He is the one who forgives, heals, satisfies and restores.
“Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from destruction, who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, who satisfies your mouth with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s” (Ps. 103:2-5).
- Proclaim that the Lord prepares a table for you. During the Fall Feasts, we came to the table that the Lord prepared for us. Let us not forget that He fills us, giving us abundant life.
“You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over” (Ps. 23:5).
- Proclaim the Lord’s promises are fulfilled. Let us not forget that God cannot lie. Therefore, when He says He will complete His plans, we can trust Him to do so.
“Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have spoken to you” (Gen. 28:15).
- Proclaim the Lord’s justice. Let us remember the Lord is just and says that vengeance is His to repay. We do not need to fret or worry. Instead, we can rest in the hope of our inheritance.
“Cease from anger, and forsake wrath; do not fret—it only causes harm. For evildoers shall be cut off; but those who wait on the Lord. They shall inherit the earth” (Ps. 37:8-9).
- Proclaim your heritage of protection. Let us not forget our heritage and right, as covenant servants, to activate the shield of faith so that no enemy’s weapon will prosper in our lives.
“‘No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me,’ says the Lord” (Isa. 54:17).
These Prophetic Promises Are Instructions for Walking in the Spirit
After carefully examining these prophetic promises in God’s Word, what are we to do with them? We must connect them to our heritage as Abraham’s seed. We are heirs to these promises (see Gal. 3:29).
They remind us to put God’s Word first and walk according to the Spirit, not our circumstances or feelings.
Understand that you have been grafted into the family. It is a gift to receive through Christ. Proclaim: “I receive it!”
Now is your chance to walk out the promises to experience the fullness of your salvation.
A – Apply. How do these prophetic promises apply to you in this season? How do they apply to our nation?
C – Change. Make the necessary changes to align your spirit with God’s prophetic promises in His Word.
T – Transform. Expect a transformation to take place as His Spirit moves within you as you call upon the covenant promises.
The Word tells us:
“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God” (Rom. 12:2).
When you stand firm in these prophetic promises, day after day, the assignment and lies of the enemy will be cut off. You will experience the peace and presence of God as you proclaim the promise and speak to the rock!
Remember, this is the Hebrew decade of the ’80s, which means “the mouth” or “to speak.” God wants us to speak His Word into the atmosphere, changing our thoughts and influencing those around us to shift.
When we decide to speak God’s prophetic promises, we can expect kingdom purposes to be fulfilled, and in this season, we will see this rate of fulfillment run like wildfire through a dry desert. {eoa}
