In this episode of The Global Prophetic Forecast with prophet and conference speaker Joshua Giles on the Charisma Podcast Network, we are given an in-depth look at how God uses prophecy in our current state, how to discern the truthful nature of a prophecy and a prediction of how God is moving through today’s prophetic voices.
When speaking on the history of prophecy and how it manifests itself today, Giles says, “God’s original intent really was to communicate His heart, His mind, His will through His prophetic voices to the people, and God would choose out among the people select vessels that He would work through and in order to get His message to the people now, of course, we are in this new covenant.”
Giles outlines how the ministry of the prophet has changed over the years as well as comparing the difference between the office of the prophet and operating in a prophetic voice. He says, “the main function of the prophetic voice is to point people to the direction of Jesus.”
The office of the prophet is … “what that individual is called to do in the realm of the Spirit is in intercession and through prayer, and through divine relationship with the Holy Spirit.”
Giles predicts, “God is now beginning to pour out His Spirit in new ways. And we will begin to see a distribution of the gifts of the Spirit like we have never seen before.”
