I have been missing from certain television shows. People are asking why. They deserve an answer but I was not ready to go public until now.
I still believe in these shows. And, I am deeply grateful for the strong support they have given to our tent crusades.But I had to step away for two reasons. You will notice that both reasons have only to do with soul winning.
On Jan. 2, 2023, as usual, we reserved time for seeking the Lord for the coming year.
At the beginning of this decade, in 2020, I received a word from the Lord which was not expected. This word is speaking of the Lord’s intention to purify His church worldwide during this decade. And the church’s leadership is being dramatically reorganized and continues. Again in 2021, I received a further clarification of this prophetic word for the church. In 2022 I had no impression from the Lord as to further insights.
However, on Jan 2 of this year I was strongly impressed with anticipation of another coming event. That day I was impressed from the Lord to write:
The Lord gave me a series of prophetic dreams in November which spoke to His heart for Australia in 2023 and the coming years beyond. I have also included several prophetic themes that the Lord is highlighting for us.
The Lord has been highlighting the theme of honey very strongly at the moment. Proverbs 16:24: “Gracious words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.”
Wisdom is needed to bring words that heal and unify to see revival released in the fullness God has planned. Where there is unity, God commands the blessing; and our words—particularly about each other and different parts of the body of Christ—need to be carefully considered and brought with grace, as God is wanting to bring a greater level of unity across the body of Christ in Australia.
Honey in the Hive
I tend to keep things fairly organized, but one of my methods of organization is to use stacks and piles; that way everything’s not strewn about, and I can look at a pile and know what it is.
That stack over there is outlines for livestreams and shows. That one is notes for Sunday messages. That one is bits and pieces for the next book. That stack is paid bills that need to be filed for end-of-year tax reporting. That one is books publishers have sent me to consider interviewing their authors, etc.
One day recently, I looked around my office and suddenly had the sense that the stacks and piles were getting to be a bit much. It wasn’t like I was at hoarder-level heaps that were narrowing me out of my workspace, but I knew it was time to deal with them.
If you type in the words “Walmart brawl” or “Waffle House fight” on YouTube, you’ll find hundreds of videos of bizarre altercations between angry customers. They are throwing punches, hurling expletives, kicking each other, pulling hair and even brandishing weapons, near checkout stands or next to hot ovens. You’ll also find videos of fights recorded inside Target, CVS, Walgreens, Dunkin Donuts, WaWa and multiple airports.
There’s even a video of a 2022 brawl inside a Golden Corral restaurant, where people threw food and chairs at each other. What’s going on here?
