On Monday, Aug. 22, in the wee hours of the night, I had a disturbing prophetic dream. In this dream, I witnessed the discharge of a hypersonic missile.
In the dream, I stood by as I watched a hypersonic nuclear missile being discharged. I saw the launch of World War III. I felt horrified and helpless to do anything about it.
As the missile emerged from its canister, my dream came to an abrupt end.
“I have declared from the beginning the former things [which happened in times past to Israel]; they went forth from My mouth and I made them known; then suddenly I did them, and they came to pass [says the Lord]” (Isa. 48:3 AMPC).
The promises that go forth from His mouth, He performs suddenly. The word of the Lord that came to Joseph in a dream as a young man suddenly came to pass many years later. In one day, everything changed.
Tried and Tested on Account of the Word
I have a friend who is a gifted worship leader, a loving husband and an affectionate father. He’s funny, smart, passionate about his faith and wholeheartedly committed to his church. People who know him say he’s a model Christian.
But underneath this joyful exterior is a lot of pain. He struggles with depression, and then he condemns himself because Christians are, in his words, “supposed be happy.” When emotional heaviness drags him to a low point, he knows how to put on his convincing “church face.” Nobody knows the dark thoughts that torment him.
My friend is not unique in this struggle. Countless Christians I know engage in a daily battle with the enemy of their souls. And Satan is relentless in his attacks. He is described in Scripture as “the father of lies” (John 8:44), and the “accuser of the brethren” (Rev. 12:10). He wags his bony finger of condemnation and tries to deny us access to the Lord’s love and mercy.
On April 19, 2018, the California State Assembly approved Bill AB 2943. According to this bill, the church can no longer preach or teach that homosexuality is wrong and cannot try to correct that behavior.
Many are concerned about the ramifications of this. Even psychotherapy for gender dysphoria is against this law. One astute Facebook user commented, “editing the Bible would be the next logical step.” The California Assembly, by a vote of 50-18, approved this bill, telling churches and other institutions that uphold traditional beliefs that if they advocated their views about gender and sexual orientation, they could get sued. AB 2943 declares, “advertising, offering to engage in or engaging in sexual orientation change efforts with an individual” is illegal under the state’s consumer fraud law. Assembly Floor Vote: 50-18″ (California Family Council). This bill has since died in the process.
This article is not about homosexuality, but concerns that churches or individuals could be sanctioned for preaching from the Bible. I would have had the same concern if a law was passed that said a person could be sued for preaching on the biblical practice of “tithing” or that “Jesus is the only way to heaven.”
Prophetic Vision: ‘This Is a Season of God Transferring Crowns’
I recently had a vision of a majestic crown being removed from someone’s head and placed on the head of another. I was reminded of the Scripture, “But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another” (Ps. 75:7, KJV).
And the Lord said to me, “This is a season of My transfer. I am crowning those who have been hidden, and they will now rise to the forefront. It is harvest time. I am separating the tares from the wheat. Vindication is coming to those who have dodged the spears of envy and the javelins of jealousy. I am placing the crown of My favor upon their head.”
Moreover, He said, “There is significant exposure coming along with My divine shifting. The shaking is because of My shifting. Do not fear! Spiritual and political leaders will continue being removed as I shift My people into the season of advancement and acceleration. Do not be afraid. Keep your gaze upon Me as I lead you. The burning ones will be raised up to new places of authority. The crown of power and position will be stripped from those who have refused to heed My voice.”
