I heard the Lord speak to me and say, “Tell My people to put on their dancing shoes.” My first reaction was to chuckle at His words, for the one thing I don’t do is dance. In fact, it would be painful for others to have to watch me. Afterward, I’m sure I’d have to lay hands on those folks and pray for their inner healing. But knowing it was His voice, I quickly partnered with His declaration, saying, “Yes, Lord, I will tell Your people to put on their dancing shoes, and I will put on mine. I thank You that You have prepared a victory that will cause us, Your people, to celebrate and worship.”
The Lord brought to my remembrance that just a few hours before, while in prayer, I had asked the Holy Spirit, “What excites You? I want to know You. I want to know what You love, what you hate and what grieves You.” He showed me that He had answered my prayer. Moreover, He said to me, “I love to see My children dancing.” As I pondered His words, I questioned Him again, “Why do You love to see Your children dancing?” He said, “It is evidence of My turnaround.”
Then the following Scripture came to me:
“You have turned my mourning into joyful dancing. You have taken away my clothes of mourning and clothed me with joy” (Ps. 30:11, NLT).
Notice what the psalmist David wrote, “You have turned my mourning into joyful dancing.” Read it aloud, for that is what God is doing for you! I prophesy to you today that God is reversing the enemy’s plot. He is turning your mourning into rejoicing. Get your dancing shoes out and put them on. What God is doing is beyond anything you have ever imagined. Yes, joyful dancing is going to break forth in your life.
Additionally, I heard the Lord say to you, “Even though your adversary has attempted to overwhelm your soul with fear and discouragement, you can’t quit now. This is not the moment to give up. It is the season for you to come up. I am extending an invitation for you to come higher and see what you have never seen before.”
“After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter” (Rev. 4:1, KJV).
The Lord spoke of several things coming in the near future. One of them was concerning the cleansing that is coming to His body. Referring to this, He said, “There will be leaders removed from their posts and positions. They will be replaced by ones that burn with a fiery love for My presence and who walk in purity.”
He showed me political leaders being removed, some through death and others by scandals of corruption, saying, “There will be upheavals that will take place in many areas of governments. I will remove every obstacle that is attempting to thwart My plans to reap a harvest of souls. Instruct My people not to fear the shaking when it comes. They are to know I AM did it, like when I caused an earthquake to shake the foundations of the prison where Paul and Silas were incarcerated. A mighty revival broke forth from My shaking. All the prisoners who had heard My servants pray and sing to Me, recognized that I had answered them with an earthquake, breaking off all their chains. Just as it happened then when My servants worshipped Me, so it is today. Your prayers and praise to Me have begun a mighty shaking that will set the captives free!”
“The Lord frustrates the plans of the nations and thwarts all their schemes. But the Lord’s plans stand firm forever; his intentions can never be shaken” (Ps. 33:10-11, NLT).
God says to you now, “Take authority over the spirit of fear. Fear has stopped many from stepping into My purpose. Fear is not a feeling. It is a spirit, and it is from the evil one. Let your faith arise. I am moving, shifting and shaking. I am bringing order where there has been chaos. I am restoring, replenishing and refreshing. Lean in close to hear My voice, and I will lead you. Do not fear. It is time to dance.”
“He refreshes and restores my soul (life); He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake” (Ps. 23:3, AMP).
Those of you who are experiencing discouragement, wondering if God is ever going to send you a breakthrough, do you not know that your dry place has a purpose? That barren place where you have been living is not your lot in life. Don’t listen to the lies of the evil one, telling you that things will never change. He is a liar! Jesus, Himself, was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. It was that desert place that became the Lord’s launching pad into His public ministry. You, too, will come out of your dry desert and be launched into your destiny.
“Yes indeed, it won’t be long now.’ God’s Decree. ‘Things are going to happen so fast your head will swim, one thing fast on the heels of the other. You won’t be able to keep up. Everything will be happening at once—and everywhere you look, blessings! Blessings like wine pouring off the mountains and hills. I’ll make everything right again for my people Israel: ‘They’ll rebuild their ruined cities. They’ll plant vineyards and drink good wine. They’ll work their gardens and eat fresh vegetables. And I’ll plant them, plant them on their own land. They’ll never again be uprooted from the land I’ve given them.’ God, your God, says so” (Amos 9:13-15, MSG).
