The Access Points You Need for Entry Into Heavenly Portals

by | Feb 3, 2022 | Supernatural

Portals are described as doors, gateways or entrances to a place. From a spiritual perspective they are places that have been on earth from day one and we now have entrance to because of the death, burial, resurrection and ascension of Jesus Christ.

We just need to know the keys or access points for entry. We enter these portals by faith. Faith comes through knowing the Word of God. You must wash in the Word to access heavenly portals and the eternal realm. The eternal realm is accessed by knowing what Jesus did from the Word of God and believing it.

If you received Jesus as Lord and Savior, you are a kingdom citizen because He died on the cross, resurrected and ascended to give you kingdom citizenship in which He is the King, and you are a citizen ruler with Him. You have access because of Him. He is the door to the realm of the kingdoms in which He wants you to rule.

In John 10:7-11 (KJV): Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.”

You Are Eternal First

Our eternal position is now advocated from a heavenly seat. We are kingdom citizens, seated with Christ in heavenly places. Heavenly places are an eternal realm where no sin or death exists at all. Heaven is a life-giving place and no death is there. In the present, we live in that realm because of access through Jesus, but we are called to take up our kingdom citizenship in the eternal realm and make it manifest in the earthly realm. We are not earthly except that we have an earth suit that we live in. We are heavenly, and our spirit man is alive by faith.

“Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God” (John 3:6).

We live on earth, but we are essentially in the eternal realm. This truth makes all the difference if you want to impact environments. You have the authority of whatever kingdom you belong to. We carry the authority of the heavenly kingdom into the earthly realm.

Adam and Eve did not need salvation until they sinned in the garden. They were eternal citizens in the earthly realm. In Genesis 1, the eternal realm was manifested in the earth realm as heaven on earth in the garden of Eden. There was no sin or death. God created his garden to be perfect and spotless. There was only life. He gave them charge or authority over the garden and every creature in it. They did not follow authority properly because they did not understand the fullness of who they were. Even with no sin and walking in the garden with God, they were easily swayed when the enemy came to deceive them in the garden.

“Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil” (Gen. 3:1-5).

Broken In The Garden

The doubt that the serpent cast in Eve’s mind was enough to make her question who she was. Nothing was missing or broken in Eve’s life; she had everything. Yet the serpent made her question her wholeness, completeness, and fullness. Her doubt invited brokenness into her eternal wholeness of soul. She questioned God’s love and her identity as made in His image (Gen. 1:27). There was no sin until she disobeyed and ate the forbidden fruit, and you know the rest of the story. That brings us to the generations of Adam and Eve from whom we descend.

We Wrestle With The Enemy

“Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places” (Eph. 6:11-12).

Spiritual warfare should be a normal part of earthly life, and there is a strategic way to do this. The Lord has given us the tools to win. When we live in the eternal realm of prosperity in our souls, we can win every time.

The enemy’s tactic is to get us to think we are broken and can’t sustain. This kills our identity of heavenly citizenship, and though we have not lost any power, we act as if we have. We allow a stronghold of fear to form, opening us to fear and not faith. Then we have a hard time defeating the enemy who has no power but is just toying with us.

However, in the ascension life, we understand our authority in the eternal kingdom realm. To have true power, we must not look to ourselves for confidence but to what Jesus has already done. This truth is our foundation for successfully accessing heavenly portals and operating in the prosperity realm. I pray this book strengthens you as I share different ways to enter portals and hold our position in the eternal realm. You must understand that although you live temporally and your body dies, when you come to know Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you are invited to live eternally in every moment.

Your Life Is Hidden With Christ

“Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory” (Col. 3:1-4, NIV).

According to the apostle Paul, your life is now hidden with Christ in God. We are new creatures and no longer bound to the restrictions or fear of death that so easily encompass humanity. Therefore, the apostle Paul implores us to set our minds on things above and not on earthly things. He wants us to feel the power of living forever. Because of what Jesus has done, eternity is ours. Eternity is yours. It started the day you became born again in your spirit man. When you were born again, you moved from being born of the first Adam to being born of the second Adam, Jesus Christ. As a result, you are no longer bound to a fear of death.

This realization should change how you live your life on earth. If you never die, you are open to manifest the glory of God. If you never die, fear is a waste of time and miracles are at your right hand. We are called to live in the portal of life because we are connected to the life-giving power of the Holy Spirit, who comes to imbue our spirit man. Our new eternal life should involve doing what the apostle Paul said to the Colossians.

“Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him” (Col. 3:15-17, NIV).

Smithyman bookWe can now live like we are in eternity even though we are in the earth. Jesus knew this power; it was the kingdom of heaven made manifest on the earth. This power is expressed in you the hope of glory. {eoa}
