Why Romans 911 Does Not Aspire to Perfect Eschatology

Eschatology is the study of the end times and the discussion topic here. It is an essential theme in The Romans 911 Project (R911 Project) and highly relevant to God’s plans and purposes.

Today we find so many differing eschatological views within the church — amillennialism, postmillennialism, premillennialism, pre-tribulation rapture, mid-tribulation rapture, post-tribulation rapture, pre-wrath, preterism, partial preterism, dispensationalism, futuristic, historic, kingdom now, and dual-covenant theology, to name a few. It is no wonder the church has endured much debate, confusion and controversy over eschatological theology, which unfortunately has contributed to division and separation among believers.

However, there are reasons for this confusion, which R911 brings to light.

R911 Eschatology

The Romans 911 Project doesn’t aspire to perfect eschatology. None of us can see the whole picture; we only see in part. (See 1 Corinthians 13:12.) We are greatly mistaken if we think we know the exact details as to how the last days will play out. We can and should be passionate about our end-time views, but it is honestly better for all concerned if we present them as opinions rather than facts and in a posture of humility. We also need to be careful not to sow division over our eschatological views in keeping with the Lord’s greatest commandment, which is to love one another. (See John 13:34-35.)

The Romans 911 Project does its best to promote a balanced perspective between Jewish and Gentile mindsets. But it does challenge any Christian view that does not include God’s restorative plans in His family to help bring about His end-time purposes.

And now that Israel is awakening, it is even more consequential to restore greater love and unity in the family of God, specifically between Jewish and Gentile believers and with all races and tongues. But much of this understanding has been hidden during the church age and is only now coming to light. The R911 Project shows a pathway for this reconciliation to take place.

Unity in the family ultimately opens the gates for the greater glory to be poured out, as we all work together with Yeshua/Jesus to help reunite our Father’s family and for His covenant and promises to be fulfilled. (See Ezekiel 36:22-36; Romans 11:26-27.) This is a major part of God’s end-time plans that we may have recognized up until this time.

Most Christians are living under God’s covenant with Israel, and most Jewish people who have rejected Messiah are living outside it. God is looking to restore Israel through us, which is greatly different from what we’ve been taught. During the end of days, the church is the vessel chosen by the Father, the salvific agent, to breathe back mercy and salvation into the Jewish people.

Before Israel can fully awaken, the Gentile-believing church must reconnect with Israel in the Spirit through the Heart of the Father for His family to be ONE. We need to heal the divisions and become unified in John 17 love for us to move into the role we will assume during the end times.

Confusion Over Eschatology

There is much confusion in the church over multiple end-time views concerning Israel and the church. Scripture teaches that the church is to love Israel, not become arrogant, and draw Israel to jealousy with the mercy it received for salvation. (See Romans 11.) The ancestral church, however, pulled away from Israel and severed its Jewish roots.

The Jewish people were vilified and persecuted — some invidious acts perpetrated in the name of the church. The enemy sowed deception: anti-Semitism and replacement theology became embedded in its foundation. These negative influences have brought a measure of blindness and confusion into the rank, especially when it looks back at Israel, and end-time perspectives are skewed at best. The church hasn’t adequately faced these issues; one of the reasons why disjointedness reigns in Christian eschatology. Also, we will never be able to see God’s end-time plans solely through a Gentile lens or perspective because The One New Man is not only Gentile.

Many in the church still believe it has replaced Israel (replacement theology). Few understand the difference in roles between Jewish and Gentile believers. Some no longer see any difference in the roles of Jew and Gentile. Others view Israel with varying degrees of significance and have not yet discerned their unique role in God’s final plans to restore His church or the fullness of The Reconnection.

Some believe that Israel and the church will remain separate until after the Lord returns. Some even believe that Jewish people do not need to receive Yeshua/Jesus for salvation.

The Church’s Response

It is crucial that the church recognize where it veered off course by spiritually disconnecting from the people of Israel, cutting off its Jewish roots and heritage. It must repent of anti-Semitism (blatant and generational) and false theology that the church has replaced Israel. By allowing the Father to change our hearts, we reverse the residual effects of these strongholds, empowering us to fully reconnect with Israel and our Jewish heritage.

In addition, healing this division will strengthen the Ekklesia/church to tackle other existing divisions. For this reason, we believe that The R911 Project has end-time consequences for us all. {eoa}

Grant is a Messianic believer in Yeshua/Jesus and is promoting a new message into the body of Messiah/Christ during these last days, known as “The Reconnection.” The Reconnection is a term used to describe the reuniting and reconciliation of Jewish and Gentile believers and all races and tongues into John 17 love and unity in “The One New Man” now that Israel’s awakening is upon us. The Romans 911 Project has been created to bring The Reconnection message to light, which has primarily been hidden in the mystery of Israel’s restoration according to Romans 11:25-27.
