Prophetic Word: Year of Divine Turnaround

by | Aug 7, 2015 | Woman

In January 2015, Prophetess Cindy Jacobs gave her prophetic word to the nations for the year 2015 and she said it is a year of Divine Turnaround. When the word came out many were thinking it was the year of financial turnaround, relationship turnaround, healing turnaround or any other thing in their life that they needed turned around. I too was thinking what I needed turned around in my life and have been believing for that all year long.

Last night while at a city wide prayer meeting here in Kansas City, a less well known prophetess got up and reminded us that this is the year of divine turnaround. While praying over this word again this morning, the Lord began to speak to me about the turnaround He is looking for from His people. He said, “If My people, who are called by My name, shall humble themselves, pray, seek, crave and require of necessity My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land” (2 Chronincles 7:14). The Lord said, “This is the year of turnaround, but the responsibility lies with My people turning from their wicked ways.” So, I inquired of the Lord further on what wicked ways He was referring to and this is what I heard.

We are being summonsed to turn, to turn from darkness to light; from selfishness to servanthood; from debt to prosperity; from hate to love; from lies to the truth; from the kingdom of Satan to the kingdom of God; from death to life; from sin to righteousness; from sickness to healing; from rebellion to authority; from idols to the living God.

Many people have prayed a prayer, but they have not changed kings. In I Kings 18, Elijah was on Mt. Carmel having a showdown with the prophets of Baal, because they people did not want to decide who they were going to follow. In Joel 3:13-15 it says, “Put in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe. Come, tread, for the wine press is full; The vats overflow, for their wickedness is great. Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision! For the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision. The sun and moon grow dark And the stars lose their brightness….”

It is past time to make your decision about who you are going to follow. The battles lines are drawn, the war is about to begin, and God is about to release a verdict on some long overdue issues, the prayers of the saints are full, they are about to tip over onto the earth, the answers are coming and where you stand will determine what you receive. Indecision is wickedness to God, that is why He is calling us to turn from our wicked ways. His mercy triumphs over judgment, which is why there have been so many prophetic warnings being sounded from the influential and the unknown. Time is running out in the valley of decision, on Mt. Carmel, it is time to decide which kingdom you are going to join, which king you are going to follow.

Zechariah 4:10 “…the plumbline is in the hand of Zerubbabel…”

2 Chronicles 20:20 “Believe in the Lord your God and you shall be established; believe and remain steadfast to His prophets and you shall prosper.” This is the year of the Divine Turnaround, thanks Cindy Jacobs, may we heed the word of the Lord from your mouth.

Messianic Rabbi: He That Has an Eye, Let Him Hear

It is interesting that, as a Messianic rabbi the question I am asked most often by Christians is if I believe that they as Christians have to celebrate, or observe, the biblical Holy Days. They are usually asking about those days listed in Leviticus 23: Shabbat, Yom...

The Biblical Way to Rise Above Mediocre Expectations

We spend a lot of life figuring out if we “measure up,” a phrase someone coined in the mid-1800s. Even in childhood, we begin comparing ourselves with siblings and kids at school, and it never seems to stop. The problem goes back to Cain and Abel, doesn’t it? Most of...

Why Does God Want Us to Speak with Tongues?

Why speak with tongues? There are many reasons for speaking in a spiritual language. Primarily, though, the Scriptures require it. The apostle Paul commanded us, saying, “Pray in the Spirit always” (Eph. 6:18). Jude commanded it in verse 20, saying, “Pray in the Holy...

Why America Must Adopt the Battle Cry of Isaiah
