How We Limit the Supernatural Power of God

by | Aug 6, 2015 | Woman

Dreams, desires, plans and ideas fill our heads daily. They intrigue and give us a glimpse of hope by creating a vision for something new, different and more. Some dreams appear unrealistic; some accomplishments are believed unobtainable. But whose eyes and heart are we seeing through?

Within our human understanding it can be intimidating, fearful and undeniably impossible. But there’s a better way we can look at the hope of our future; it’s God’s way. His word says; “Jesus replied, “What is impossible with man is possible with God.” (Luke 18:27)  “Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart.” (Psalm 37:4) and “Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.” (Ephesians 3:20)

We can’t allow discouragement, fear or doubt to deny us; keeping us from the blessings and promises of God. We are the children of an all powerful, all knowing God who is the Creator and Maker of the Heavens and the Earth. His resources are unlimited.

It’s time to think outside the box and stop limiting God. We limit his ability to do the supernatural in our lives; by our lack of faith in him. “And they took offense at him. But Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his own town and in his own home. And he did not do many miracles there because of their lack of faith.” (Matthew 13:57-58)

It’s time for total surrender of ourselves to God; to pray boldly and expect his word to accomplish exactly what it says; as it will never return void!  “so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.” (Isaiah 55:11)

We need to understand how powerful, productive, promising and influential God’s word is. We need to read and study God’s word. It’s the only thing ever written or spoken that’s one hundred percent true, infallible, eternal and able to withstand anything coming against it! It can’t be destroyed. “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” (John 1:1)

We discover our potential and accomplish our dreams when walk by faith and live in obedience to God. Faith is the essence of our relationship with Christ. “By faith we understand that the entire universe was formed at God’s command, that what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen.” (Hebrews 11:3) It’s by faith we first called out to Jesus believing he is the Savior of the World. It’s by faith we pray, trust and believe Jesus for all our needs and live for him. “Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.” (Hebrews 11:1)
“Faith is knowing in our hearts; the truth our eyes can’t see!”

God leads and directs our every step; moving us into his will and providing all we need to fulfill our purpose. Don’t be afraid to believe and pray to accomplish something that looks or seems impossible. Surrender everything to God, seek him with all your heart and expect supernatural blessings to follow! God has no limits!

“Don’t just dream…..Allow yourself to Dream beyond expectation.”
