Take Hold of Your Authority to Trample the Enemy

As we continue teaching on deliverance, one of the most important keys we need to get hold of is that we have been given authority over all the powers of darkness. Thus, we do not need to fear or doubt concerning our ability in Christ Jesus to be free.

Luke 10:19 says, “Look, I give you authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. And nothing shall by any means hurt you.”

Another important key in operating in this authority is obedience. James 4:7 says, “Therefore submit yourselves to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” We must submit to God’s rule in our lives and then stand firm against our enemy.

In these latter days, it is expedient that the church rise up in her God-given authority.

This is why deliverance is so important. Removing demonic forces that war against our flesh and soul makes the submitting to God much easier.

Psalm 110:2 says we are commanded to rule in the midst of our enemies. Satan and his cohorts have been totally stripped of the authority they usurped from Adam in the garden.

We have the authority to cast out demons and walk in the strength of freedom.

It’s time to take our families and our lives back. Let me give this to you as a challenge: Learn your authority, learn how to break the legal rights the enemy has gained into your life and remove his control today.
