Crush the Enemy and Retrieve What You Have Lost

There are hidden truths in secret places. These hidden truths are keys to our healing, answers to what we need especially in dark times.

We tend to run from darkness trying to manage it. However, sometimes God needs us to discover what has been lost, so he can prepare our hearts to manage the new. He reveals his treasure in the dark place. In this place, God removes old ways of thinking and establishes a new set of beliefs about who we are and his plan for us.

God then will turn a floodlight on so we can see our way through the darkness. He wraps us in grace, power and strength to make necessary changes for that better life retrieving what has been lost.

Out of weariness, David entered into the enemy’s camp. He did not seek the Lord around this decision but rather succumbed to the many losses that had surrounded him. It was not until he lost his family, all his rights to do what he was good at and ultimately his calling to be king that he came to his senses. It was then, out of desperation, that he sought the Lord.

Have you had enough? Don’t wait for all to be lost at the depth David did. Let’s keep our integrity, our trust in the God who provides absolute truth in the midst of confusion. Restoration comes from the one who turns on a floodlight of revelation in the darkness so that in his brightness we can see the path ahead (Psalm18:28-29). It is here where we can crush an enemy horde and advance through every stronghold that stands in front of us.

Stop being helpless in the hands of the enemy. Seek the Lord for insight. When David sought the Lord at the depth of his losses, the Lord told him to rise up and fight, and he would retrieve all. It is time for us to do the same.
