Seducing spirits are not just sexual spirits. Seducing spirits are luring spirits that draw you into sin.
Webster’s defines lure as “to draw with a hint of pleasure or gain: attract actively and strongly, appeal, attraction, an inducement to pleasure or gain: enticement.” Seduce is defined by Webster as “to persuade to disobedience, to lead astray usually by persuasion.”
When you read these definitions of lure and seduce, that is exactly what the enemy is doing: seducing and luring people away from God into sin and disobedience of pornography. Anyone caught in the cycle of lust and perversion knows how difficult it is to draw their thoughts back in the right direction.
The temptation of sexual sin is very powerful. It has a mind-binding spirit behind the attack driving the lure or seduction into wrong thinking at full force.
However, are we missing a crucial component to the deliverance of perverse spirits? I believe we are not going deep enough. Behind the spirits of lust and perversion is a familiar spirit keeping the same cycles, patterns and habits manifesting.
Familiar spirits know what your temptation and stronghold is in your life. Familiar spirits co-labor with monitoring spirits to know what is happening in your life. Monitoring spirits report back to a hierarchy and familiar spirits are dispatched on assignment to keep you stuck and drawn into your sin. When we cast out and take authority over familiar spirits the same negative things stop happening in our lives.
When we are focusing on being delivered from pornography, we cast the spirits out that we know are associated, such as lust, perversion and pornography. People achieve some freedom, some temporarily only, and for some it never gets better. We are missing the crucial element of going for the strongman and driving forces behind these lustful spirits.
Casting out demonic strongholds consists of going deep and seeking the Holy Spirit for divine revelation of what are we missing, or what is the driving force or co-laborers with that in which you are struggling.
When casting out spirits of lust and perversion, let’s look at the complete picture. We have familiar spirits in operation co-laboring with seducing, luring and mind-binding spirits. Yes, there can be generational curses, ungodly soul ties and sexual abuse spirits additionally in operation. However, those are things we usually know are associated with our freedom. We need to go behind the scenes and grab out the driving forces and strongmen of these demonic infiltrations of our souls.
Spirits to cast out to receive freedom from pornography:
—Lust.
—Perversion.
—Luring.
—Seducing.
—Familiar.
—Mind-binding.
—Generational.
—Trauma.
—Torment.
—Pornography.
—Deception.
When we go deep in deliverance is when we experience complete deliverance. Receive deliverance first of all by once again asking for forgiveness and repenting. Cast out the spirits by name saying: “Spirit of [insert spirit name], I cast you out in Jesus’ name.” Go through the entire list and cast each one out individually.
Afterward, pray and ask the Holy Spirit to fill you up and convict you of any future temptation because you will still have to overcome behavior patterns and ungodly habits.
