We live in an age of spin and deception. Truth is rare and difficult to discern in the 21st century.
We no longer live in the Judeo-Christian world; we live in a post-modern world.
Reason and logic now dominate the truth conversation. The truth is personal truth has quickly become the highest standard by which we measure truth.
The Oxford Dictionary defines “truth” as “following a fact or reality.” So, to state it plainly, truth corresponds with that which is real or specific.
Only 9% of Americans believe in moral absolutes.
Seventy percent of all Millennials believe the most significant measure of truth is feelings.

– Personal truth
– Mass deception
America and the world are suffering major deception and have lost the ability to discern and discover the truth.
Truth begins with God.
Jesus Christ is the person of truth.
“Jesus told him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me'” (John 14:6, NLT).
The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of truth.
“But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come” (John 16:13, NIV).
The Word of God is the word of truth.
“Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth” (John 17:17, NIV).{eoa}
