Managing Your Crossover

by | Sep 17, 2021 | Purpose & Identity

The Church of Jesus Christ is in a time of crossover. God is giving us the opportunity to cross over, take over and possess new land and promises. But we must be willing to follow the same pattern of instructions given to His first nation, Israel, to secure them.

This podcast will give you some insight on those instructions as you prepare to move out of your wilderness and into your land of promise!

Step 1 — Circumcision — Josh. 5:1-9

In preparation for your crossover, you must be willing to submit to the pain of circumcision — you must allow God to cut away the excess to ensure proper reproduction in your new land. Circumcision is a symbol of new eternal covenants with the Almighty.

Step 2 — Your diet must change — Josh. 5:10-12

Your spiritual diet and taste will change in your crossover place. Manna prepares you and changes your taste to desire living bread. Jesus said, “Is it not written: ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God'” (Matt 4:4). In your new land, only God’s Word can sustain you.

Step 3 – You must have a renewed commitment to holiness — Josh 5:15

You must maintain an awareness that your new place is a holy place. Sins, iniquities, trespasses and lawlessness from your past cannot cross over with you. Clean yourself up!

Step 4 — Possessing lands and securing territories requires you to fight!

No fight … no win — No win … no in! Having knowledge of spiritual warfare is not enough. You must possess the skills needed to fight and win! Knowing your enemies, your weaponry and God’s strategies to wage warfare will be crucial to possessing and maintaining your place of victory.

Step 5 — Stop being religious and recognize why you’re being defeated! — Josh. 7:1-26

In this new place, you must be willing to identify the sin or behaviors you being defeated by. God wants you to win but your victory must be secured by your ability to kill Achin in you and destroy the accursed things in your life. Achin must be dealt with harshly. A renewed commitment to sanctification is the key to victory in every battle! {eoa}

Messianic Rabbi: He That Has an Eye, Let Him Hear

It is interesting that, as a Messianic rabbi the question I am asked most often by Christians is if I believe that they as Christians have to celebrate, or observe, the biblical Holy Days. They are usually asking about those days listed in Leviticus 23: Shabbat, Yom...

The Biblical Way to Rise Above Mediocre Expectations

The Biblical Way to Rise Above Mediocre Expectations

We spend a lot of life figuring out if we “measure up,” a phrase someone coined in the mid-1800s. Even in childhood, we begin comparing ourselves with siblings and kids at school, and it never seems to stop. The problem goes back to Cain and Abel, doesn’t it? Most of...

Why Does God Want Us to Speak with Tongues?

Why speak with tongues? There are many reasons for speaking in a spiritual language. Primarily, though, the Scriptures require it. The apostle Paul commanded us, saying, “Pray in the Spirit always” (Eph. 6:18). Jude commanded it in verse 20, saying, “Pray in the Holy...

Why God’s Rebuilding is Better Than His Restoration

Why America Must Adopt the Battle Cry of Isaiah
