How You Can Mature Your Faith to Grow Your Spiritual Power

In a recent episode of Live Your Best Life with Liz Wright on the Charisma Podcast Network, Chris Blackeby shares powerful revelation about what it is to fully come out of religion and into mature sonship. He explains that when we first receive Christ, our concept of how to follow Him is framed up very quickly. This depends on the environment in which we are introduced to Jesus and the standards or expectations of that culture.

Chris explains that any form of religion restricts our ability to enter into mature sonship. All believers are God’s children, but coming into maturity is a different matter. The Word says that all of creation is waiting for the revealing of the mature sons of God, not waiting for revival, not waiting for Jesus to return, but for us! Made one with Christ, we have the powerful authority to transform creation and release it from its bondage to decay.

If we have religion in us, we will also have judgment because religion comes from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. A mature son has the same heart as the Father, who sends rain on the just and the unjust, and the same heart as Jesus, who laid down His life for the guilty.

Rather than condemning people as evil and calling down judgment on them, we are to have God’s heart for them, knowing that Christ was slain that they might be forgiven and made as white as snow. All God asks is that we simply believe that He did it all for us, and there is nothing we can do to earn or deserve our oneness with Him.

Let His Spirit renew your mind today as you come out of all works and align with the heart of the Father. Listen now! {eoa}
