How Does Your Garden Grow?

Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me-.-.-.-out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. —John 7:37-38

So many Christians are looking for the power of God, but you have a reservoir of power that has been poured into you, “For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body-.-.-.-and have been all made to drink into one Spirit” (1 Corinthians 12:13).

To start that power flowing, you must first prime the pump of your soul. You have the Holy Spirit within you, but His power must be primed through prayer, worship, and praise.

Once you release the power of God, it gushes like a river. “And thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not” (Isaiah 58:11).

Begin each day by priming your pump of Holy Ghost power, and the fruit of your spirit will flourish like that of a well-watered garden. Be a tree planted by living waters. Meditate on His Word day and night. Fill today with acts of kindness prompted by the Holy Spirit.

Jesus, I desire to live this day in your power and grace.
I long to hear Your voice, see Your face,
and be an instrument of Your grace. Amen.
