Prophetic Word: An Invitation to the Secrets of God’s Heart

I have had many encounters this year where I’ve heard the Lord speaking louder than I have ever heard or felt before, saying things like, “Come deeper,” “Go slow,” “I am calling you to marinate in My presence,” “Linger with Me.”

Right now, there is an invitation being extended to us, as His people, to behold Him and gaze upon His beauty more deeply than ever before.

I felt such a strong encouragement from the heart of the Lord that now is the time to press deeper into the secret place with Him.

Time to Marinate

The weight of His presence and glory is increasing, and there is a call to “go slow,” to marinate in His presence and to linger with Him, eliminating any rush. His glory is coming in such a way that it will cause His people to fall face down as His brilliance comes crashing in like never before. It’s the Ezekiel 44:4 (AMP, emphasis added) place: “Then He brought me by the way of the north gate to the front of the house; and I looked, and behold, the glory of the Lord filled the house of the LORD, and I fell face downward.”

Thick clouds of His glory will fill rooms as we have never seen before.

In a vision, I saw people in their secret place with Him, as thick clouds of His glory came into their homes, into prayer groups and into worship gatherings. His weighty glory is upon us. Go slow! Make room! Marinate!

For in the secret place, there are things that the Lord is sowing into your hearts and lives that need time to marinate and to grow. He is releasing deeper encounters with His heart and deeper revelations from His heart which are to be received and stewarded with tenderness, care and time to allow what He is doing and releasing to flourish and blossom forth.

Knowing and Encountering Him

There is a wooing coming from His heart, drawing us deeper into the secret place, with no other agenda, no other desire, other than to know and encounter Him.

There is a deep call going forth to pray and intercede in unprecedented ways. The groaning is increasing. There is a call to not only nestle ourselves deeper within the secret placethe place of intimacy with Him but also in the Word, to study the Word more than ever before. This call is drawing us to know the Word, to marinate in the Word and to allow the Word to minister to us.

The eyes of the Lord are roaming the earth. He is looking for those who will linger in His presence, not out of religious duty but out of love for Him. He is looking for those who are searching for Him with great adoration, who are making room in their lives in a fiercely radical way to minister to Him first and foremost.

New Realms of Glory and Mysteries Revealed

I heard the Lord say, “There are new realms of My glory that I am inviting My people into right now. Position yourselves. Position yourselves. Marinate in My presence. Eliminate rush, eliminate busyness. Come deeper into My presence, for I have great and unsearchable things to reveal to you. Ask Me!”

It was then that I heard the thundering of His heart: “It is the time of mysteries revealed. It is the time of mysteries revealed.”

When He spoke those words, the depth of what I felt I do not have English words for. I could feel the thunderings of these Scriptures:

“Call to Me and I will answer you, and tell you [and even show you] great and mighty things, [things which have been confined and hidden], which you do not know and understand and cannot distinguish” (Jer. 33:3, AMP).

“It is He who reveals the profound and hidden things; He knows what is in the darkness, And the light dwells with Him” (Dan. 2:22).

“After this I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven! And the first voice which I had heard, like the sound of a [war] trumpet speaking with me, said, ‘Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after these things'” (Rev. 4:1).

“It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, but the glory of kings to search out a matter” (Prov. 25:2).

Those Who Linger

What the Lord is inviting His people into in this time is sacred. What He is revealing and releasing to His friends in the secret place is something that’s deeper than I have ever felt before.

Deeper encounters with Christliving and moving and having our being in Him (Acts 17:28); seeking to know Christ and Him crucified (1 Cor. 2:2); anchoring ourselves in the knowledge of the Word and walking in the revelation that flows from His mouth (Matt. 4:4); discovering indescribable realms of His glory and the supernaturalthese things are upon us.

The heart of God is longing to reveal mysteries as never before. It’s the time of mysteries revealed, and He is looking for those who will linger. Go slow. Marinate. Be with Him. Be like Joshua who lingered (Ex. 33:11).

I heard the thundering of His heart that came in a dream, where He spoke of a new era that was coming, which we have now entered: “For those who will linger, I will entrust the secrets of My heart.”
