Targeted Prayer for Your City: Problems vs. Solutions

Grab your bow and arrow and get ready to release targeted intercession that hits the bullseye of city transformation! “Can’t I just pray for all the things that I see wrong in my city?” you may ask. Sure you can. However, we want to point you toward effective ways to pray that will deliver measurable results.

When prayers for our communities point toward all the things that are corrupt and dark, our focus is wrong. Yes, we see evil structures in operation and want to see injustice removed. Our prayers consist of presenting the problem to God (like He doesn’t know) and hope that He will do something about it. What we are doing is grabbing an arrow called “problems” and shooting it. Our hope is that piercing the target of problems with problems will bring about results.

There is a better arrow named “solutions”! This arrow is received in open dialogue with the Lord concerning the destiny of your city. When it comes to problems, seek the Lord’s solution. Load your bow with “solution” and you will find that you hit the mark more often than naught! {eoa}
