Now therefore, be wise, O kings; be instructed, you judges of the earth. Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling. —Psalm 2:10-11, NKJV

God is awesome in splendor and terrifying in His greatness. This royal One has no superior—no equal. When we get a glimpse of His eternal power and majestic beauty, we will be filled with reverential fear. We tremble before His greatness. If we feel only trembling in God’s presence, then we will not experience the fullness of His grace. David says we are to rejoice before Him as well.

{ PRAYER STARTER }

Lord, You truly are awesome in splendor and terrifying in Your greatness. It is more than I can comprehend that You love me so much that You bestow a righteous inheritance upon me. I rejoice in Your goodness to me and bow in humble fear in Your mighty presence.

We are to exult in the benefits of our inheritance.
