Have you ever felt like David when he faced Goliath?
Most of you know the story. David is a God-fearing teenager who dares to go into hand-to-hand combat with a giant named Goliath.
Goliath is a trained soldier and a giant of a man that stands 9′ 9″ tall. That is taller than the former star center for the Los Angeles Lakers, Shaquille O’Neal.
The teenager, David, was likely around five feet tall.
Where does this kind of confidence come from in a small, teenage boy?
“Then Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the midst of his brothers, and the Spirit of the Lord came upon David from that day forward” (1 Sam. 16:13, NKJV).
Notice the game-changer … the Spirit of the Lord came upon David.
Something similar happened to me a few weeks back.
It was a normal Sunday morning. I was in my prayer room … my upper room.
It was just the Holy Spirit and me. That morning, I received an unusual prompting from the Lord.
I would call it a high-level word because it involves the president and our nation. The word is a game-changer for our country.
