(PART 1)

If we’re serious about serving the purposes of God in our generation, we must contend not only for the proclamation of sound doctrine, but also for the demonstration of real apostolic power.



READ: Acts 19:11-20; Rom. 15:15-19; 1 Cor. 2:1-5; 1 Cor. 12:31; 1 Cor. 14:1; 1 Thess. 1:5.
HEART ISSUE: Are you earnestly seeking God’s power as well as God’s truth?
PRAYER FOCUS: Father, give me a heart that will contend earnestly for true apostolic faith in my generation. Amen.

(PART 2)


If we want to see the power of God at work in our lives and our generation, we must be willing to take the long view and persevere in living holy, radical lives for Jesus.

READ: Ps. 24:3-6; Luke 2:36-38; Luke 24:49; 2 Cor. 12:9-10; Heb. 10:35-36; 1 Pet. 2:9-12.
HEART ISSUE: Have you given up on any of God’s promises because you haven’t seen them manifested yet?
PRAYER: Lord, help me to persevere in prayer, fasting and holy living for Your name’s sake. Amen.
