From the beginning of time, Satan was jealous of God’s creation of man. Scripture tells us that man was created in the image and likeness of God. Satan wanted that position. Man was created higher than the angels in the hierarchy of the realms of creation: mineral, plant, animal, angelic and human beings (the highest of all created beings).
When Satan tried to tempt Jesus in the desert, after the last of the three temptations in which he was thwarted in his attempts to get the Son of Man to bow to him, Jesus said to Satan “Get behind Me, Satan” (Mark 16:23b). In other words: “As the new Adam and representative of mankind, we are ahead of you, Satan.”
No wonder Satan left in a rage. Jesus restored dominion to mankind, just as Adam had dominion in the Garden of Eden before the fall.
Power Shift
In the Garden of Eden, where the fall occurred, there was a massive power shift from man to Satan. God gave Adam dominion, Satan usurped dominion from Adam, and the war of the ages began. It’s interesting that the temptation in the garden began with an ingenious deception based on misaligning Eve’s perception. The lie Satan told to Eve was designed to alter her perception of the fruit and God’s command, suggesting to Eve not to touch the fruit. Once, Satan got her to believe his lie and touch the fruit; it was all downhill from there.
I mention Genesis to provide context because nothing has really changed. The war of the ages began in the garden—Satan wresting control over Adam and Eve and through them, mankind. In the garden, Lord God issued the first prophecy that the seed of the woman would crush the head of the serpent (see Gen. 3:15).
Down through the ages, God our Father has always shown His love for us by giving us freedom. Satan has always shown anger, jealousy and rage by wanting to control mankind. And so, it is today, one of the main weapons Satan, the prince of the power of the air (Medes, from which we derive “media”), wants to control us through manipulation of the five senses that affect our perception of reality.
The two most dominant and pervasive senses are sight and sound. The media uses the ether around the earth to present sounds and sights that alter our perception of reality. Sights and sounds transmit around the globe; however, smell, touch and taste are much more localized and therefore much more limited. The five senses are the five gates to our soul. Satan, the master manipulator, knows how to use media to dramatically influence our behavior through manipulating our minds.
As Satan has clearly demonstrated his desire to control mankind, it would behoove us to inquire, “How is he exercising control over us?” Ask yourself, “How much time, energy and money are spent on media throughout the world?”
Hundreds of billions, maybe trillions, of dollars every year are spent on trying to control people’s minds. It’s all about power, and no amount of money is too much. Where would you spend money in hell anyway?
Mind Control
The most powerful emotion known to man is fear. Every tool Satan uses to affect our minds with the intent to control us is fear, and the mother of all fears is death. Note the Scripture in Hebrews 2:14-15: “So then, as the children share in flesh and blood, He likewise took part in these, so that through death He might destroy him who has the power of death, that is, the devil, and deliver those who through fear of death were throughout their lives subject to bondage.”
Satan wants to control us and longs for us to be his slaves. But God our Father wants His children to be free!. Satan uses the most powerful emotion, fear, and the most powerful fear, the fear of death, to manipulate and control our minds.
A little history lesson will shed some light on what is happening to us today. Sigmund Freud had a nephew by the name of Edward Bernays who was born in Vienna, Austria, in 1891. Edward grew up in New York City. He became the “father of propaganda” in the 1920s, primarily with the principal media of the day, newspapers.
We have come a long way, yet as technology has moved forward light-years, the evil intent to manipulate and control our minds has remained the same. There is no word in Scripture for “propaganda”; however, the spirit behind the word” is well documented there, with an understanding of the thought behind the thought. The definition of propaganda is “information, especially of a biased or misleading nature, used to promote or publicize a particular political cause or point of view.”
Since Scripture tells us that Satan is the “father of lies,” the use of propaganda to provide biased or misleading information with the intent to promote a particular point of view fits precisely into Satan’s hands. As it is Satan’s intention to control us. He will do everything at his disposal to create a narrative to scare us so we will willingly receive his solution.
Propaganda is always aimed at affecting our perception. Narratives, stories and pictures either outright lie to us or carefully arrange the facts to describe an event or circumstance that is untrue, like a skillful lawyer who can rearrange facts in a carefully composed narrative to depict an untrue reality. Such is the skill set of Satan (whose name means” the accuser”; one who uses words to destroy).
Global Propaganda
One need not look any further than current events to see the pattern of propaganda being played out repeatedly. The mainstream media, Hollywood, our universities and educational system, our health care system, sports and entertainment, both political parties and all three branches of government all appear to be in cahoots under the influence of the powers and principalities of evil, who want to control us.
By presenting the propaganda that COVID-19 is going to kill us (the fear of death) we are accepting government mandates to wear masks (one, two or five), social distance, obey lockdowns, refrain from going to church and so on. The government is selectively exercising control over which businesses stay open (“essential”) and which close (“nonessential”). This is tyranny; this is Fascism from a totalitarian state.
Despite the original scientific information from Dr. Antony Fauci stating masks did not protect us, the evil powers concluded masks were needed to control us. Therefore, the narrative changed, and we were required to wear masks. This whole process of control led us to the so-called “vaccinations,” which appear not to be “vaccinations” at all since they do not keep us from contracting COVID-19 (or whatever virus of the day we are supposed to fear).
Though we have experienced the worldwide use of propaganda, important information is being denied the public such as what exactly is in the vaccine. Why are the pharmaceutical companies requesting the FDA not to disclose the ingredients for 75 years? Satan operates in darkness; this is darkness. The spirit behind it is tyranny and control, and the intention is to abrogate our God-given freedom.
Remember, the Declaration of Independence states: “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. —That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed.”
Father’s Heart
Our Founding Fathers (though they were not perfect) were intentional about freedom. They knew the heart of God the Father, who wanted us to enjoy freedom. Our nation was founded by men who covenanted with God our Father to give us a government that would protect our freedom. It is in the heart of God the Father for each of us to be free. It is one of the primary ways He expresses His love for us—to give us free will. It is one of the primary reasons for the United States of America to exist and why everyone in the world wants to come here. Freedom is the thought behind the thought of America. Perfect love casts out all fear! God our Father will save our nation because He keeps covenant with us.
As for you and your house, what shall you say? Do you see the truth? Is your calling and destiny to be one of sons, described in Romans 8:19, “The eager expectation of the waits for the appearance of the sons of God.”
The sons of God know the Father’s heart: to protect, provide and mentor.
The mission of The Father’s Heart Media is to “bring the hearts of the fathers to the children and the hearts of the children to the fathers.” This mission is both natural and, more importantly, supernatural. One cannot connect with God our Father if you fear Him. Fear blocks the communication lines between God and us. Propaganda generates fear, a disruption in the lines of communications between our heavenly Father and us.
