Reclaiming Mystical Union with God w/Brian Orme

Recently on Live Your Best Life with Liz Wright, international speaker and author Brian Orme talks about our oneness with Christ in a powerful conversation that demystifies the mystic. Brian believes that holiness isn’t a process but it comes from Jesus’ sacrifice. He explains that we can’t bring a contribution to the table for holiness; it is all found in Jesus. We didn’t try to be slaves to sin; it was our nature. Now as new creations, we can’t try to be holy because it is our nature! We are holy because He is.

Brian shares key on-ramps for people who don’t know where to start in experiencing God. He says that it’s important to learn to love God with our minds. Thinking together with God is worship to Him. First John 2:20 says the Spirit has anointed us to know all things. As believers, we have the mind of Christ and can access His thoughts!

Brian also talks about his experience of spiritual orphanhood and journeying into a life of encounters as a son. We are to stand on the foundation of sonship and our identity in Christ, but it is unto something else. From that place, we exercise the rule of God on the earth as new creations. Just as revival is unto reformation, our cities and nations change from reformation.

There are problems in the earth that your life solves! You are made to see transformation of world systems from the inside out, just like Daniel didn’t destroy the system he was in but permeated it with the light of God. From our mystical union with Jesus, we release Him into the environment around us. Discover the simplicity of knowing that He is Immanuel, God with you, and that He is closer than your breath. {eoa}
