How You Can Thwart the Enemy’s Schemes and Step Into Your Promised Land

When you listen to Self Talk on the Charisma Podcast Network, you will hear that I talk about a variety of topics. This is because the Lord puts different things on my heart. Every issue is always for the benefit of the listener. I know I cannot be all things to all people, but I try my best to be led by the Holy Spirit.

I just finished an exciting series on the prophetic gift. In the coming weeks, I am going to do a series based on dealing with the current apostasy. I want to look at some tough questions about pastors and education. I love the church very much, but I believe the church is suffering from a lack of education. Many independent churches have pastors with no college degree or theological training.

I never want to bring condemnation because that would be unbiblical. I want to see the church flourish with the truth. In his letter to the church at Ephesus, Paul said we should all mature, so every wind of doctrine does not sway us (see Eph. 4:14). Self Talk is about helping people, not by being controversial but by trying to be truly helpful with practical things that can enhance a person’s walk with the Lord.

I am transparent; I use a lot of my own stories and failures as examples. We also plan on doing some inspiring interviews with several different people. The purpose of this show is to help you succeed in your purpose and overcome the enemy’s schemes which act as obstacles to keep you out of your promised land. Your promised land is a place of abundance, peace and fulfillment. It is a place that benefits your family and friends. This promised land must be discovered, conquered and settled.
