The Freedom to Forgive

When we are treated unfairly, our natural man wants revenge. Jesus showed us a better way–a way to freedom. Bitterness destroys us, but forgiveness brings healing.

READ: Prov. 12:16; Prov. 28:13; Matt. 5:43-48; Matt. 6:9-15; 1 Pet. 2:19-24; 1 John 1:7-10.

HEART ISSUE: Where are you holding unforgiveness toward others? What is keeping you from letting it go so you can be healed?

PRAYER FOCUS: Father, show me who I need to forgive. Heal my heart and my memories. Strengthen me to follow You by choosing to forgive my offenders. Amen.
