God is no respecter of persons. He loves all of His children whether they are unbelievers, skeptics or believers. Whether someone does not believe in healing or is faithful in their walk, God will meet people where they are.
Recently, I was preaching a healing message and at the end prayed for several people to be healed. Several were healed of various problems. I received word that a male visitor sitting in the back of the sanctuary was a skeptic. He did not believe in healing and did not believe that the people who had just testified that they got healed were telling the truth. But he had a very stiff neck that was in pain. He then began to move it from side to side and discovered all the pain was gone and he had free range of motion. He later told his friend who had brought him all about this and that he had been healed.
Jesus will go after the skeptic. We just need to trust Him for it. He is a God of compassion, mercy and love today and every day.
Now for contrast, let me tell you about Robby. Robby was going to meet a girl for a date and had to drive several miles to do so. She cancelled the date, so Robby was just going to stay home. The Lord spoke to him and said, “Why would you drive that far for a date but not go that far to RiverGate church where I have been clearly telling you to go?” So, Robby got in his car and drove to church.
When I was done preaching, suddenly I had a word of knowledge about someone who had pain on the right side of their neck. Robby raised his hand and said it was him. I told him that when he stepped into the aisle and began to walk toward me, the power of God was going to hit him and he would be healed. Robby did so. He had his arms crossed in front of him and didn’t even look like he was in a position to receive from the Lord. However, the power of God hit him so hard he nearly fell backward. His face turned red. He began to shake and he began to cry. I asked him to turn his neck from side to side, and he very much responded that he had been healed!
God loves our obedience. Make certain that you are a person who has a clean slate, forgives everyone and loves at all times, and God will lead you the way He led Robby. Healing is the children’s bread! So whether you have been obedient or have been praying for skeptics in your life, trust God for Him to step in and He will.
