Why You Need to Watch for Life-Changing Divine Appointments in November

This month, watch for life-changing divine appointments that will bring people together for a united kingdom purpose. Your heart may stir with the awareness that it’s a pruning season, and relationships may shift as you take inventory on who is destined to walk with you into the next season. Be reminded that God wastes nothing, and that even your mistakes are able to be used to get you where you’re headed.

You are going somewhere, and God is leading you to where you need to be at exactly the right time. If you find yourself facing an opportunity that feels bigger than you and impossible to surmount, realize that God may be opening the door for you to trust Him more and take a leap of courage. As you trust Him and walk with Him, He is working all things together for your good.

Catalytic Encounters

“Who knows if you may have attained royal position for such a time as this?” (Esth. 4:14b).

This month, many people will encounter crazy circumstances that will bring people together in a way to accelerate what the Lord is doing. After the divine appointment, you may find yourself saying something like, “That was wild! How could that have ever happened?” What the world might perceive as mere coincidence is actually divinely orchestrated by God, and it has been years in the making.

I see situations arising where family members will meet people who knew their loved ones who had great impact on them. These meetings will be heart-rending, significant and weighty. Dreams will be realized through these situations. People will find these encounters as catalytic points for moving forward, and they will be bolstered by the favor, thoughtfulness and kindness of God.

These meetings will feel like missing links or bridges that connect the dots. After these meetings, there will be even more revelation that ties things together. God is highlighting timeliness and being obedient to His stirrings in your heart. This month, pay attention to the opportunities you have to connect with people outside of your normal community. God is accelerating connections in order to bring people together for a united purpose and to call out the destiny on people’s lives. Some of the relationships that are forged this month will become lifetime friendships.

Yielding the Best Fruit

“I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that bears no fruit, He takes away. And every branch that bears fruit, He prunes, that it may bear more fruit” (John 15:1-2).

Many have been experiencing some pruning in their lives, whether in relationships, priorities or things that have been distracting. The purpose of pruning is to yield a higher quantity of better fruit. It is necessary for the process of growth and for continuing to transform into the healthiest version of yourself.

The process of pruning eliminates dead or diseased branches that might be inhibiting a tree’s growth so that it will be healthy and able to grow strong to support the new growth and the fruit that comes with it. You may have noticed a shifting, changing and re-prioritizing of relationships within your life. Some will have a deep realization that if they are not currently walking in their purpose, there may be different people that they need in their lives to get them there.

This is the time to prayerfully, intentionally make room for key people to be in your life. Something may have to go in order to make the space and the time necessary to cultivate these relationships. Look for people who are different from you, who have experience in the area that you want to grow in, and for divine opportunities. This is all so that we can be the best version of ourselves, yielding the best fruit that we have.

God is causing our hearts to stir with this awareness that there needs to be a shift in our relationships. Being aware of the season that you’re in and the people who need to be in that season will be key to growing the way God wants you to grow. He’s bringing the right people at the right time. Be on the lookout!

God Wastes Nothing

“We know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose” (Rom. 8:28).

God uses every part of your life to prepare you for where He’s called you. No experience, season, relationship or encounter is for nothing. Nothing is wasted, and He is using everything to prepare you for where you’re going.

There are times in our lives that don’t make sense to us in the moment, and we wonder about the purpose for that time, relationship or experience. The truth is that you have been prepared, even though it might have seemed like a waste or an accident in the moment. Even the times that you feel like you’ve made a mistake, and you’ve even messed up your destiny or your future, even then God is using all those things to work together for your good.

It is key that you keep moving forward. You are going somewhere, and God is leading you to where you need to be at exactly the right time. It’s possible that the “accident” helped you get to where you needed to be in the end. God is working with your choices, decisions, happenings and mistakes to propel you along your journey to where He’s calling you.

Playful Courage

“Have not I commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go” (Josh. 1:9).

Picture a 2-year-old who wants to play with her older sisters on the big-girl playground. It’s not built for her; all the equipment is for bigger kids, and there are ways that she could definitely get hurt. But she loves it anyway, and she isn’t scared at all. In the end, playing on the big playground reveals her capability, capacity and her courage. She can be seen (and even trusted) with new eyes because she’s not afraid, and she’s more physically adept than previously thought.

You may be facing an opportunity that feels impossible. It may feel bigger than you and like the timing might not be right. But if you find yourself in this place this month, ask the Lord what is holding you back. If it’s only fear that’s holding you back, ask Him for the courage to move forward. You may find that you are better equipped than you thought and even exhilarated by the adventure! God is transforming our fear (when we give it to Him) into courage right now. He’s giving us precious opportunities to trust Him more.
