“But I said to you, ‘You will possess their land; I will give it to you as an inheritance, a land flowing with milk and honey,’ (Lev. 20:24). I am the Lord your God, who has set you apart from the nations.”
God is speaking to me about a real estate anointing that is coming on many people right now and increasing on others who have already operated in this. Land was always one of the promises of God over His people. There are so many stories and Scriptures about land and about not moving boundary lines. It is still one of the most contentious resources to this day. Israel itself has always been in a land battle against the agendas of other nations.
God is re-establishing His intention over lands and boundaries and that is why so many Christians are feeling led to buy land or to sell and possess land that will more clearly serve their families, callings and careers.
The Great Instability
We are coming into a time of financial instability that the world won’t be able to define. But for many kingdom people this is going to be a time of great real estate prosperity or a time that will set them up for one in the future. God is shifting land ownership around the globe in this season and within the next 10 years. It will cause people who are walking in obedience to Christ to own some of the most key and pivotal properties in multiple nations. Even in this time of uncertainty in financial stability, God is going to have significant real estate projects for families, churches and commercial purposes.
Someone needs to hear this: God is giving you land for your purpose. Sometimes when you understand your purpose it releases the faith for the land that you would need. Other times when you purchase a land you come into a purpose that you didn’t know or couldn’t have imagined before you owned it.
I saw a picture in heaven of a large desk and on it were architectural plans, deeds, land grants, development plans and favors for processes like inspections and rezoning. God is about to move on so many people over land because He wants to plant roots into specific places in culture. When you own land that you are apprehending for spiritual purposes, it brings about a blessing to the surrounding communities and lands.
I saw some who thought that their house was coming two to three years ago and God was saying, “look with new eyes of faith.” I saw heaven coming to fight for others who were held up in real estate battles and legal issues over land.
God is saying that in the time of favor He will give you the property because you will use it for its rightful purpose.
Isaiah 49:8-9:
“This is what the Lord says: ‘In the time of my favor I will answer you, and in the day of salvation I will help you; I will keep you and will make you to be a covenant for the people, to restore the land and to reassign its desolate inheritances, to say to the captives, “Come out,” and to those in darkness, “Be free!” “They will feed beside the roads and find pastures on every barren hill.”‘”
God is going to use Christians to redeem land and to restore inheritances that have been lost off of properties and in cities.
Some of these properties that God is leading you to will require great faith to apprehend. It will require a specific strategy from God to be able to build what you want there, or to be able to use the land for the purposes you are seeing. God wants to give you favor with the government for projects. He wants to give you the ability to obtain things like permits or licenses or other things that would be impossible to get if it was just a normal project. He wants to help combine some lands that were parceled out and also parcel some lands that need to be used for many different purposes.
Some lands that you already have and are selling or want to sell are going to have an anointing to sell. They are going to go in God’s timing, and you will be surprised as He brings miraculous sales over properties.
If you are involved in the real estate profession I want to encourage you to look at it as a mission field in this season in a fresh way. So much is happening in homes, investments and families through real estate right now, and you are going to find yourself wrapped with unusual empathy for the people you serve to help them through not only sales and buying but also through heart issues and family issues.
I also saw God healing shame off of people who had lots of land and hadn’t stewarded the properties correctly or had sold them too soon. God was re-establishing hope and faith that He can do it again, He can reignite vision and calling no matter what your credit score or banking relationship is like in the present.
For Churches and Ministries
There is divine prophetic placement to put you in the right spaces. Some dying ministries and churches are going to hear from God to give the assets of their buildings away to new or more influential churches in regions all over the world. If you are holding onto something that died but had a lot of life in the last season, let it go! God will bless the giving to those that are in the middle of the new thing God is doing in your community or ministry sphere. For those pastors, leaders and ministries that are looking for your home, God is leading you to spaces and land that will cause a deep rootedness, but it may require some pivots before you get there. Trust God. Epic properties are going to be released that aren’t even on the market yet or can’t even be seen. God is holding them for you so that when it is time, the miracle of the “how” will blow away the people who are called to be there.
Ultimately I feel like God wants to give Christians the sense that real estate and the land itself is important to own and occupy. God wants to bring an anointing to define the identity of property and to be able to redeem it if things have not been stewarded well there. I even believe that we are going to see Christians have the faith to buy some large properties that the world says are “too demonized” to own or “too haunted” to dwell in. God is going to give a real estate anointing to send people into dark territories to own castles and houses that have superstition around them because the enemy knew what would happen if they were used for the kingdom.
I pray that God gives you His anointing over lands. I pray that all the purposes He has created you for including family, your calling, your local church and your career would have any properties released so that you can advance the kingdom with the full resources needed.
Psalm 16:
“Lord, you alone are my portion and my cup; you make my lot secure. The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; surely I have a delightful inheritance. I will praise the Lord, who counsels me; even at night my heart instructs me. I keep my eyes always on the Lord. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken.”
