I saw a vision of a runner preparing to take off running, and I heard the Lord say, “Tell My people to position themselves to run in 2023. I am bringing supernatural acceleration.” Immediately my attention was drawn to the word “position.”
What did it mean? What message was the Lord seeking to convey by using that word?
As a runner who runs eight to 10 miles most days, I am well-versed in the prerequisites for a long-distance run. The first thing required is choosing the right place to run. People would look at me strangely if I took off running full speed in the middle of a department store. The second thing a runner must do is to acquire the proper shoes in which to run. A runner can injure their feet without the proper support. The third thing to do so that a runner can run with speed and distance is to do a pre-run warmup. This is my least favorite part. However, if a runner wants to run without cramping up or injuring themselves, stretching is non-negotiable.
In spite of the troubling times that have been prophesied would come this year, God is saying for you to position yourself to run in 2023. In my last prophetic word, I declared to you that massive opportunities would be released to God’s people. These opportunities will require your ear to be tuned to the voice of the Holy Spirit. He will lead you to places and connections that are beyond your reach!
Be forewarned that you may be stretched out of your comfort zone this year, but it will be necessary for where God is leading and for the supernatural acceleration He is bringing to you in this hour.
While receiving this from the Lord, He laid on my heart those who have felt behind in their assignment. He has not forgotten you. Perhaps poor choices of your own have caused you to be delayed, but God has not forgotten you! He will redeem your times. Remember, your times are in His hands. God can accelerate your effectiveness to such a degree that it will be as if nothing had been lost. I hear the Lord say that ministries, businesses and families will suddenly be birthed or restored. Quit crying over wasted years. He is restoring the years that were devoured.
“And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you. And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and My people shall never be ashamed,” (Joel 2:25-26).
Moreover, the Lord revealed to me that in 2023 there would be an even greater divide between “purity and pollution.” There will be an EXPOSURE of pollution that has taken place in the church first. He will raise up those with clean hands and pure hearts in the coming days while others will be exposed and removed. For those who remain consecrated to Him, He will use them to demonstrate His power. It will be as in the days of Elijah when he challenged the false prophets of Baal. God answered by fire. The prophets of Baal were killed, and a spiritual awakening caused the people to fall on their faces and renounce Baal.
Intercessors will arise and birth a revival rain that brings God’s people out of famine. Elijah went to the top of Mount Carmel, cast himself to the ground, put his face between his knees and prayed. Take note he did not position himself as we imagine. The description given was that of Elijah in a common oriental prayer position, like that of a woman giving birth. He was birthing what he had heard in the Spirit, the abundance of rain.
“And it came to pass in the mean while, that the heaven was black with clouds and wind, and there was a great rain. And Ahab rode, and went to Jezreel. And the hand of the Lord was on Elijah; and he girded up his loins, and ran before Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel,” (1 Kings 18:45–46).
The hand of the Lord being upon Elijah was in direct correlation with his ability to run ahead of Ahab’s chariot and horses. The hand of the Lord is coming upon those with pure hearts, and they will see the miraculous power of God. Divine acceleration is coming as it did on Elijah.
God is raising those who will run toward the giants that have opposed what He has decreed. Giants are falling this year!
The story doesn’t stop there. David took Goliath’s own sword and cut off the giant’s head. You, too, will take the weapon the enemy used in an attempt to destroy you and use it to gain complete victory.
Get ready to run with acceleration and take down giants in 2023!
