Suddenly Surrounded by Muslims, Jonathan Cahn Boldly Speaks God’s Truth

Some time  ago, Jonathan Cahn traveled to Nigeria and was on his way to a crusade to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ.

His guide had stopped the car and got out, and Cahn had no idea of where he went. Suddenly, Cahn says in this video (begin at 12:20 mark), that the car in which he was riding became surrounded by a group of Muslims. He had no idea of what to think about the situation.

He shares his story:

“They’re looking at me and, I don’t know, maybe I look Jewish,” he laughed. “Because they said, ‘Are you a Hebrew?’ I said, ‘yes I am.’

“They asked me, ‘what do you think of Muhammad? What do you think of Islam?’ I said, ‘Islam says that Jesus is the Messiah.’ So, if Jesus is the Messiah, and it says He’s coming again, then you had better listen to what Jesus says. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth and the life, and you cannot have salvation without Him.’

“I said that knowing that could be my last sermon.

“I didn’t know what was going to happen, but the guide came back. Thank God he came back. We started to pull away, and they said, ‘Wait, stop!’ I’m thinking, ‘here were go.’

“One of the men said, ‘Don’t leave without giving us a blessing. Give us a Hebrew blessing,’ and they all bowed their heads. I prayed a blessing and I prayed that they would find the Lord.”

Cahn says he doesn’t know if that happened, but that he hoped the words he spoke would sink in and that God would change their hearts.

“In Islam, they actually say, ‘Jesus is the Messiah,’ but they don’t understand what that means and that He’s coming again,” Cahn says. “That’s an altar, a connection. The Orthodox Jew believes in Messiah. He believes in the Scriptures and that’s a connection. They yearn for Messiah and that’s a connection.

“The Hindu and the Buddhist want to be one with God, but you have to show them how to become one with God. Atheism is close to agnosticism. And Gnosticism is close to the word for the unknown God and the altar of the unknown God. They all have it because He set eternity in their hearts.

“Even Satan worshippers have an altar that is meant for God. Some of you were in the occult, but God used it because you were searching for God. I think about Messiah. What did he do? He didn’t condemn us. He became like us, He connected with us and He met us where we were.”
