On Saturday, Pastor Robert Morris returned to the Gateway Church pulpit for the first time since his multiple surgeries and life-threatening infections and complications. In his sermon, he shared a powerful story. In April, Morris was airlifted to a hospital for treatment after he passed out from complications with an earlier surgery. Gateway’s Jimmy Evans told Charisma News that paramedics lost Morris’ pulse and blood pressure during the flight. During his Saturday teaching, Morris shared what was happening in the spiritual realm during that flight. He says he told God in the helicopter, “Lord, I am excited. I am so excited about coming home. I’m excited. But I would like to be there for my family a few more years. I’d like to be there for Debbie. I want to grow old with Debbie.” Then God gave him an answer. Watch the video to hear what He said.
