Pastor: Social Distancing Goes Against Our Nature

Pastor Robert Madu says social distancing is challenging for everyone because it’s contrary to what we’re created for.

“One of the challenges that we face in this season of social distancing is that it is completely opposite to who we are,” Madu says. “We’re created for connection. We were made for hugs, high-fives and kisses. We were created to connect. I don’t care what your personality is. I don’t care what your enneagram score is. Even the greatest introvert was never meant to bear the burden of isolation. …

“There is no locked place that your God cannot invade. He can step in and show up even in the midst of your fear and your anxiety.”
