Pastor Levi Lusko says the COVID-19 outbreak is a form of punishment. But regardless of why it’s all happening, we have a choice when it comes to our attitude and how we respond.

“Give yourself extra grace in what we’re dealing with in this time,” Lusko says. ” … We have to acknowledge that we’re dealing with what is a form of punishment and what has cracked some of the best minds and brightest thinkers in the history of the world. But Paul shows us a better way. Paul shows us that it’s not only possible; it’s also a better option to choose joy in the midst of what you’re facing.

“Joy is a choice, just like despair is, just like self-pity is, or feeling sorry for yourself in this time of quarantining and confinement.”
