Joel Osteen is the executive producer of Jesus: His Life, an eight-episode miniseries on the History Channel telling the story of the life of Jesus from eight unique perspectives. Each episode focuses on a specific person’s perspective; the eight episodes cover Joseph, John the Baptist, Mary the Mother of Jesus, Mary Magdalene, Peter, Judas Iscariot, Caiaphas and Pontius Pilate.
In a trailer posted online Thursday, Osteen promoted the show, saying, “I’m excited about this new series! It’s called Jesus: His Life on the History Channel. … Be sure to tune in, it starts March 25 on the History Channel.”
He also said the series is so important because it teaches us about the enduring importance of Jesus.
“He felt what we felt,” Osteen says. “He faced what we face today.”
