Take This Biblical Pathway to Your Physical Healing

by | Jul 11, 2016 | Health & Healing

The following outlines a path for experiencing health in your digestive system. Please take time to really think about each of these and why we must speak to their eviction. This system is so important you may find you need to process through these evictions, speaking to the mountains and evicting them from one organ at a time.

Don’t hesitate to speak to any other issue or story related to these that comes to mind that needs to go. See these things leaving your body and it being refilled from the Lord’s table with what is good and acceptable and perfect.

General Digestion

Our mouth is the beginning of the entire digestive tract, which ends at the large intestines. Any type of hatred or violence in word or deed may affect the mouth and jaw.

  • Eject all fury and anger: “But Queen Vashti refused to come at the king’s command delivered by his eunuchs. Therefore, the king grew very angry, and his wrath burned within him” (Esth. 1:12, MEV).
  • Eject all lying. Confess, apologize and restore relationships. Lying puts the body into a moderate state of stress: “You desire truth in the inward parts, and in the hidden part You make me to know wisdom” (Ps. 51:6).
  • Evict all violent and hateful words—control your speech: “The mouth of a righteous man is a well of life, but violence covers the mouth of the wicked” (Prov. 10:11).
  • Eject all traumatic and fearful events, fear of the future and anxiety regarding the criminal element of society, along with all potential invaders: “I heard, and my body trembled; my lips quivered at the sound; rottenness entered my bones; my legs tremble beneath me. Yet I will wait quietly for the day when calamity comes on the people invading us” (Hab. 3:16).

The Liver

Two passages mention the liver and how our beliefs and actions may affect it. Through these passages, we learn that sexual immorality may be destructive to the liver. Intense sorrow, hopelessness, despair, defeat, or depression also appear to affect the liver.

  • Eject all improper sexual lust and immoral relationships, and the delusional thinking accompanying them.
  • Ask God for mercy regarding any side effects: “With her enticing speech she caused him to yield, with the flattering of her lips she seduced him. He went after her straightaway, as an ox goes to the slaughter, or as a fool to the correction of the stocks, until a dart struck through his liver. As a bird hastens to the snare, he did not know that it would cost him his life” (Prov. 7:21–23).
  • Eject all sorrow and grief over any issue of life: “Consumed by tears have been my eyes, Troubled have been my bowels, Poured out to the earth hath been my liver, For the breach of the daughter of my people … ” (Lam 2:11, YLT).

The Gallbladder

The gallbladder or its contents are called gall in the Bible, and it is associated with holding on to bitterness.

  • Evict all bitterness and its relatives of resentment and unforgiveness: “For their vine is of the vine of Sodom and of the fields of Gomorrah; their grapes are grapes of gall, their clusters are bitter” (Deut. 32:32, NKJV).
  • Evict all unrighteousness of any form and all forms of bondage and addiction: “For in the gall of bitterness, and bond of unrighteousness, I perceive thee being” (Acts 8:23, YLT).

The Stomach

Bearing our own burdens creates a stressful life and stomach, as does being in love with the world and its indulgences.

  • Eject all evil talk and deceptive words, all greed, all ungratefulness, all oppression of others, all violent behavior, all stress, all heartburn, all nausea and vomiting and sourness of stomach, and all trust and exultation of oneself over trust in the provision of God: “Though evil is sweet in his mouth, and he hides it under his tongue, though he spares it and does not forsake it, but keeps it in his mouth, yet his food in his stomach turns sour; it becomes the venom of cobras within him. He has swallowed down riches, and he will vomit them up again; God will cast them out of his belly … He will give back the produce of labor and will not swallow it down. According to his wealth the restitution will be, and he will not rejoice in it; because he has oppressed and has forsaken the poor. He has violently taken away a house that he did not build. Because he knows no quietness in his belly, he will not save anything he desired. Nothing is left for him to eat; therefore his prosperity will not endure. In his self-sufficiency he will be in distress” (Job 20:12–15, 18–22, MEV).
  • Eject all antagonism toward God, all gluttony and fleshly overindulgence, and all lusts for power, wealth, and the indulgences of this life: “For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: whose end is destruction, whose god is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame—who set their mind on earthly things” (Phil. 3:18–19, NKJV).
  • Evict all excessive craving and lack of self-control regarding sweets: “Have you found honey? Eat only as much as is sufficient for you, lest you be filled with it and vomit it” (Prov. 25:16, MEV).

The Small and Large Intestines

Two passages in God’s Word specifically note the bowel, or intestines, and the character of the men afflicted with maladies in this area. Both were kings, and both entertained aggressive and prideful mind-sets, selfish ambition, and emotions that included fostering anger, hatred, and rebellion against God, man, and their parents. Both ended up with diseased intestines.

  • Evict all murderous hatred and actions, all evil and acts that lead others to evil, and all rebellion toward God: “Then Jehoram rose up over the kingdom of his father and he became strong. And he killed all his brothers with the sword and even some of the officials in Israel … And a letter came to him from Elijah the prophet, saying, ‘Thus says the Lord God of David your father: Because you have not walked in the ways of Jehoshaphat your father, or in the ways of Asa king of Judah, but have walked in the way of the kings of Israel, and have led Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem into whoredom, as the house of Ahab led Israel into whoredom, and also have killed your brothers, those of your father’s house, who were better than you, the Lord will bring a great plague on your people, your children, your wives, and all your possessions; and you will have great sickness with a disease of your intestines, until your intestines come out because of the disease, day by day'” (2 Chron. 21:4, 12–15).
  • Evict all anger and harassment of others, and the desire for revenge and any thoughts or actions to make or see oneself equal with God: “About that time King Herod extended his hands to harm certain ones from the church. He killed James the brother of John with the sword … Now Herod was very angry with the people of Tyre and Sidon. But they came to him in unity, and … they asked for peace, because their country was fed by the king’s country. On an appointed day, Herod, dressed in royal apparel, sat on his throne and gave a public speech to them. The mob shouted, ‘It is the voice of a god, and not of a man!’ Immediately an angel of the Lord struck him, because he did not give God the glory. And he was eaten by worms and died” (Acts 12:1–2, 20–23).
