How You Can Walk in the Healer’s Footsteps

Have you ever been disappointed when you’ve prayed for healing?

Yvon Attia understands how folks can feel this way. She was raised in a church that did not see many healings and was taught that healings no longer happen. Then Jesus revealed Himself to her as the God who is her Savior, Healer and Deliverer. She and her husband founded Celebrate Healing Ministries to equip the saints for the work of the ministry and to call the ordinary believers to do what Jesus did.

Yvon wrote “Revealing the Healer” to encourage believers to know that they have what it takes to bring healing. Sickness and disease are not the will of God. Her book exposes the lies that people believe, which disqualify them from a healing ministry.

Unbelief is one of the biggest hindrances to healing. Some people believe that for God to heal them, they must do certain things, like fasting and praying. Yvon says you cannot put a formula to healing. Jesus did not leave us a formula but gave us one key to succeed: intimacy with the Father.

Many people don’t receive their healing because they want God for what He offers, not for Who He is. Also, some people have let previous experiences—others who weren’t healed—dictate what God has for them. Those thoughts allow negative experiences to be raised above the Word of God. Do not let unbelief come in or try to rely on a formula for healing.

Yvon urges believers to fall in love with Jesus and the Word and become refreshed. “Jesus is Savior, Healer and Lover. When He comes into a situation His love comes in with His healing. Enter into the love and compassion of God and His love will drive out sickness and disease from your body.”
