For anyone who knows anything about those who lead ministries to sexually broken people, the late Sy Rogers was in a class all by himself. The insights and understanding on sexual brokenness that he shared with audiences around the world were brilliant, compelling and practical.
This week, we’re going to share two interviews that we conducted with Sy some years ago. The first contains his personal testimony of how he developed homosexual and transgender confusion—conditions which were the result of sexual abuse and other traumas. The second interview contains his take on transsexualism and other transgender conditions.
There is nothing like learning from a man who lived in both the brokenness and the healing that Jesus Christ can bring. The wisdom and insight Sy gleaned from his personal, intimate relationship with Jesus Christ is worlds away from mere academic intellectualism. They are filled and informed with the wisdom and power of the Holy Spirit
