ABC News has announced they will dedicate the entire day on January 6 to cover their version of events on the one-year anniversary of what they call “the attack on the U.S. Capitol and the continuing fallout for American democracy.”
There was indeed an attack against American democracy that day. But it wasn’t by the patriots who showed up at the Save America rally in Washington, D.C. to protest the overwhelming irregularities of the 2020 presidential election.
The rally was a peaceful event. I know because I was there.
Much like the “Russian Collusion” story, the mainstream media continues to make what happened on January 6 at the Capitol last year their only news story. Even their COVID ongoing narrative has taken a back seat to their insane obsession to continue to go after Trump.
After their previous obsession with their Russia Collusion story was completely debunked, they were never required to recant, publish the truth or payback America for their costly and ongoing attempt to remove President Trump with their fabrications. What was established was that then-candidate Hillary and her money was behind the Steele dossier creation and the FBI colluded using the unsubstantiated dossier as their only “evidence” to surveil Donald Trump and his campaign.
That would be called a crime. But hey, nothing to see here folks, right?
And now in their effort to keep Donald Trump from ever returning to office (yeah they are that afraid), they obsess over J6, believing if they say their claims loud enough and long enough, the rest of us will believe it as well. Hey, it worked for Hitler right—at least for a season before the house of cards came tumbling down on him. The Left, like Hitler, recognize their house of cards is crumbling.
This week Pelosi’s hand-picked hatchet crew she calls the “Select Committee” have “asked” Fox News host Sean Hannity to “cooperate” with them in their “investigation.” Let’s be clear. If this was actually an investigation for truth, then there would be an investigation into all involved. But that is clearly not happening.
The question that we should be asking is what transpired during the two+ hours that the House and Senate leaders supposedly went into hiding during the “attack.” No one has asked that question. But it is the question.
What happened to make numerous representatives and senators recant their previous decision to not certify the vote? Those are the conversations that need to be exposed. With what were they threatened? Or perhaps promised in exchange for changing their minds? That is the real story.
Instead, according to an ABC News report, the “Select” Committee is investigating “Trump’s state of mind before, during and after the Jan. 6 attack” and “whether Trump deliberately sought to obstruct an official congressional proceeding on Jan. 6.”
“Did Donald Trump, through action or inaction, corruptly seek to obstruct or impede Congress’ official proceeding to count electoral votes?” Rep. Liz Cheney, R-Wyo., asked in a December committee hearing, pointing to a specific criminal statute that they are obsessed with trying to prove Trump violated.
What those statements clearly reveal is this committee isn’t investigating what happened but working hard to prove the end result they want to create. But like their Russian Collusion story, it’s full of holes.
If it was true that Trump called for the attack or was behind it, then why did they have to edit Trump’s speech during the Save America rally? When shown without deceptive editing from the establishment media, he specifically called for peaceful demonstrations.
What about the fact that Nancy Pelosi, rather than granting Trump’s request for the National Guard to come to the city, denied his logical request. Additionally, the Capitol police officers shared that half the Capitol police force were told to stay home that day.
THAT is what should be investigated. But Pelosi isn’t under investigation—only Trump and conservatives, as has been the standard for far too long.
Here’s a question for you. When I personally interviewed a Capitol police officer near the Capitol that day, why did he express his own frustration with what was happening? He told me that many of his fellow officers were frustrated just as they had been when Antifa came in to burn and destroy D.C. earlier in the year. Their hands had been tied.
THAT should be investigated. But it’s not.
In November, I had the opportunity to interview lawyer and former professor David Clements who was fired for his conservative beliefs. Since the election, he has worked with Mike Lindell and General Flynn to investigate the overwhelming irregularities of the election to restore integrity and trust in our voting process. He has also been working to see the political prisoners, still held from January 6 at the Capitol building, released.
Why is the J6 Committee completely ignoring the fact that the Washington, D.C. jail still holds political prisoners now a year later and they have been denied their right to a speedy trial?
In an interview with attorneys for individuals facing charges for their alleged involvement in the Jan. 6 event, they have said their clients are being kept in solitary confinement and subjected to third-world conditions.
After touring the D.C. jail, Rep. Marjorie Taylor-Greene said “the prisoners are held in solitary confinement for 22 to 23 hours a day,” according to the Post Millennial. She said prisoners with celiac disease are getting sick because the only food they are offered contains gluten.
Other prisoners were forced to denounce former President Donald Trump and told that “their views are the views of cult members,” Greene said.
“They have been beaten by the guards. They are called white supremacist. They are denied religious services, haircuts, shaving, the ability to trim their fingernails,” she added.
The terrorists from 9/11 and death row prisoners have been treated better than these men and women who have been denied their 6th amendment right to a speedy trial.
That should be investigated. But it’s not.
These political prisoners have had their 8th amendment right violated, which protects American citizens from cruel and unusual punishment. In addition to abysmal conditions of bug-infested isolation cells, they have been subjected to psychological abuse and denied the right, at times, to meet with lawyers.
That should be investigated. But it’s not. And you can bet that the all-day coverage by ABC and other establishment media sources won’t say a word about those injustices.
“Justice has been driven back, and righteousness stands at a distance; truth has stumbled in the streets, honesty cannot enter” (Isa. 59:14).
Mind you, these are men and women who were non-violent and who have yet to be convicted of any crime. They were invited to come into the Capitol building by the Capitol police, who posed with some of them in pictures and shook their hands. Was their violence that day? Yes. Does that need to be investigated? Most definitely, along with the now exposed fact that perhaps as many as one in six people inside the Capitol that day were FBI agents.
Let’s also not forget that Jan. 6 took place nine months after BLM and Antifa were violent, ravaged numerous cities and threatened police. People were killed. Very, very few of those violent activists were arrested or charged with their crimes compared to these Jan. 6 patriots, whose biggest crime was stupidity or curiosity for entering the Capitol building.
Was there an attack on democracy that day? Indeed, there was and that is what should be investigated. {eoa}
