Rock worship band Fee frontman Steve Fee says that because of the group’s success with their debut release, We Shine, they now have the platform “to inject God into the equation of tragedy and uncertainty going on in the world.” As part of that mission, they offer their sophomore release, Hope Rising.

This new album features 12 original tracks, including “Hands of the Healer,” “Your Love Is Better Than Life” and “Send Me Out.” The song “Arms That Hold the Universe” came about during a concert the band played for shortly after the deadly church shooting in Maryville, Ill., last March. It was written to remind the congregation that in any situation we can find hope in God.

Of the album’s first single, Fee says: “There is a message for us here in this era and period in church history. I’m confident that songs which echo the victory of Christ are exactly what we, the church, want to say and God, in His timely way, put songs in us like ‘Glory to God Forever.'”
