Has God Brought You Out of a Horrible Pit?

Psalm 40:1-3 says, “I waited patiently for the Lord, and He turned to me, and heard my cry. He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet on a rock, and established my steps. He has put a new song in my mouth, even praise to our God; many will see it, and fear, and will trust in the Lord.”

I was a victim of childhood sexual abuse, but I never thought sex trafficking even existed in the United States of America. I’ve been to Mexico and Peru several times and have told my own personal story to sex trafficker victims of how God can do anything and heal anyone. But it still did not register with me that it could happen here and that it does happen here! I have heard story after story that will shock you!

Faythe Kadona has a powerful story, and her story is reaching the world. When I heard what she had been through, it left me in tears! How can one person go through so much and come out sane? Only God! She said that the Lord brought her up out of a horrible pit. He established her steps, but it wasn’t easy to follow. Because ultimately the path that God had for her to deliver her from the pit was to send her to jail.

You must understand that from the age of 6 months to 16 years old, all she knew was abuse, violence and drugs. This was her normal. She didn’t know any different. When she was sold for the first time for sex by a lady who was supposedly helping her, she thought this was normal. After all, being molested and raped over and over by people who “loved” her was all she ever knew! Faythe talked to me about how it created demonic activity in her life. The enemy thought he had won! Until one day she was arrested for possession of a firearm. When she was arrested, this was the first chapter of her new life in Christ Jesus.

To see how far God has brought her has inspired me. She gave the Lord her broken heart, her broken life, and He created someone new!

God has truly established her steps, leading her to meet Ivanka Trump when she came to visit the House of Cherith. Faythe was working there at the time, and she was able to share her story with Ivanka.

She also is making a difference in Georgia right now by changing some laws about victims of sex trafficking. She met with Marty Kemp (the governor’s wife). She also met Gov. Kemp and is making a difference in the lives of those on the streets after making a powerful speech to our governor that she says the Lord helped her write.

Faythe did not have a father in her life. A father is what creates security for a daughter and a son! He is the symbol of strength and courage. He’s the protector and provider. Faythe experienced so much pain from rejection and abandonment of her father and abuse from her mother that it left her insecure, weak, vulnerable and a victim. Her life was a mess, but Abba Father stepped in! She said she felt the love of her heavenly Father! It was His voice that made the difference in her life.

Listen as Faythe shares more about the miraculous touch of God in her life in this episode of One Voice with Janet Swanson on the Charisma Podcast Network. You’ll also find ways to connect with Faythe here. {eoa}
