‘God Is Not Finished With California’: Sean Feucht Takes Praise Outdoors

by | Jul 16, 2020 | Culture

Despite California Gov. Gavin Newsom’s order forbidding singing in church, Sean Feucht is bringing the sounds of worship across California. The worship leader, who has mobilized people across the globe to offer praise and worship, is so passionate about people having the freedom to praise the Lord that he recently held outdoor worship events on both the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco and in Huntington Beach. In the latter, he says, nearly a thousand people gathered to praise the Lord. Feucht takes First Amendment rights seriously and is encouraging others to follow God’s call to release their sounds of praise.

In Feucht’s recent interview with Kathy DeGraw on the Prophetic Spiritual Warfare podcast, the two discuss the importance of worship, how people can worship in their homes and gather people in their local area to worship. They discuss how intimidation can prevent us from worshipping and how we need to take a bold stance and worship.

Singing and worshipping the Lord is one of the ways we express our love for Him. Lifting up songs of adoration and praise is biblical. It is an expression of our heart, our love, devotion and affection for our Creator and sustainer. In fact, Scripture tells us we were created to worship: “Yet the hour is coming, and is now here when the true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and truth. For the Father seeks such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship Him in spirit and truth” (John 4:23-24).

Feucht plans to host events across the United States to bring people together to lift their sounds and voices in worship. He has organized a petition, “Let Us Worship,” which he will deliver to Washington, D.C., next week. Feucht says his goal is to bring 100,000 signatures. Sign the “Let Us Worship” petition at this link.

Feucht believes what is happening with the hunger of people to worship could be the next Jesus People Movement. People are hungry to worship. They want to lift their praise and gather together to release their sound. “God is not finished with California,” Feucht tells DeGraw. “It’s not a lost cause.”

In this special episode and interview, you will not only hear about what is happening in California but be drawn to worship as well. DeGraw and Feucht offer tips and insights to enhance your worship and break down roadblocks and hindrances. Whether you are a worshipper already or want to release your sound in a new or different way, this episode covers many topics in which you can learn and enhance your worship and break off intimidation. DeGraw even offers her e-course, How to Conquer Fear, free to all listeners to help break off any fear or intimidation you may have regarding worship or current events. How will you release your sound? We are created to worship, and our voices must be heard. Our praises must go forth! Let us worship!

Why Does God Want Us to Speak with Tongues?

Why speak with tongues? There are many reasons for speaking in a spiritual language. Primarily, though, the Scriptures require it. The apostle Paul commanded us, saying, “Pray in the Spirit always” (Eph. 6:18). Jude commanded it in verse 20, saying, “Pray in the Holy...
