This week, Duck Dynasty‘s Phil and Kay Robertson endorsed the Freedom March, where former homosexuals march proclaiming freedom from homosexuality through Jesus Christ.

“According to Jesus Christ, the greatest command in the Bible is to love God with all your heart, mind and strength and to love your neighbor as yourself,” Phil says. “We should live by that. I am grateful to all who share their stories from their hearts at the Freedom March.”

Mrs. Kay agrees: “I love hearing the stories about God’s love and grace. It the greatest blessing on this earth, and heaven will be the greatest gift of all.”

Freedom Marches began in 2018 when Jeffrey McCall had a vision to gather those individuals who left LGBTQ lifestyles to follow Jesus Christ and give them a platform to share their stories.

“These stories can often be pushed to the back in the church because churches don’t want to touch the topic or have confusion on it,” McCall says. “I love that at Freedom Marches we highlight these stories of those who left LGBTQ and found their identity in Jesus Christ!”

The next Freedom March will be in Boston, Massachusetts, on April 18, 2020, at Christopher Columbus Park from 12-4 p.m. The Freedom March will include about 10 testimonies, live worship from Edward Byrd and marching around downtown Boston.

Other Freedom Marches will take place this year in Washington, D.C., on May 16 at Sylvan Theatre from 12-4 p.m. and later in October in Atlanta, Georgia. Freedom March invites everyone to attend, both the body of Christ and people who identify as LGBTQ.

“We welcome all and just hope people will come hear about the experiences that changed these individuals’ lives,” McCall says. “Let all your judgment go and just come listen to the stories. Then you can decide for yourself.”
