The past few years have been a Marxist death march on conservatism and there seems to be no end in sight. We have seen the cancel-culture overlords, such as Big Pharma, Big Tech, woke corporations and the false prophets of media, take away any dissenting voices that won’t bow to their golden image of rhetoric. Americans stand by and watch the Facebook fact-checkers police the peasants that walk their digital streets, squawking phrases such as “baseless & debunked.” Little do they know that their self-righteous, societal pruning sheers are making room for the giant slayers to rise up. Just as Goliath revealed the weakness in Saul, while at the same time making room on the battlefield for the courage of David, so too are the “social justice” warriors and anti-racists making room for the truly righteous to step in.
This is a revelation from the Lord and an opportunity for His anointed ones to rise up and defeat the giants. I heard the Lord say, “There is a void. Who will fill it? The ones who determine to take to the online battlefield of the Philistines and cut the head off the giant will be the ones to replace the Sauls of society who were too cowardly to do it themselves.” This goes for politicians, pastors, TV hosts, comedians, actors, singers, businessmen, etc.
The arts and entertainment mountain of cultural influence is the one that shapes the narrative of society and it has been purged. As new platforms emerge, such as Donald Trump’s “Truth Social” to combat this enemy of freedom, who will come in and fill the void? Will we mope and complain about how our Twitter account was deleted or will we pull ourselves up by the bootstraps and press on in this culture war?
When we see a song titled “Let’s go, Brandon” replace the beloved Adele in the #1 spot on the music charts, it is a prophetic sign: There is truly a void that all of us are waiting to be filled. We have been starved of good entertainment and content that actually meets the needs of today’s populist movement. There is a void in Congress and on school boards. There is a void on Broadway and in late night television. There is a void in the NBA, MLB and NFL and possibly the biggest void of all is in the White House. Wokeism is a black hole that swallows everything unique and good about our society but has it made room on a battlefield that God has called you to? Let the faith of young David rise up in each one of us to take back what the enemy has stolen.
