There are ancient stories in the Bible that depict exactly what is going on in the world today. The problem is, many American Christians haven’t heard or read all of the Bible.

TV personality Kathie Lee Gifford has taken it upon herself to combat biblical illiteracy in America through music and narration.

A modern-day inspiration of taking the talents God has given her and multiplying them for the kingdom of heaven, Gifford announces her new film that features the epic stories of the Bible brought to life through music.

In theaters only on Sept. 1, ‘The Way’ will teach Christians about the “epic journey through time from the dawn of creation to the building of a nation,” Gifford says. Her heart is to share the incredible, almost too good to be true, love of Jesus that can transform the hearts and minds of those feeling hopeless and in despair today.

Despite the impacts of COVID, Gifford and her team are working tirelessly to bring clarity and modern narration to stories many have never seen presented on video. “I think it has a message that’s very important for our world today,” the singer says.

Throughout her career in daytime television, Gifford observed stars coming through the door day in and day out thinking they had finally found hope, and many ended up in rehab or even committing suicide. Gifford’s message to the world is one of a Savior who holds everything we need within Himself.

Throughout life people find the end of themselves, and when you get to rock bottom, “the only place you can look is up, and your Messiah is there waiting for you,” Gifford says.

“When we set out in faith with the little talents He has given us, remember the little boy at the Mount of Beatitudes.” Like the child who held his lunch in his hands, Jesus used that offering to feed multitudes.

The star is encouraging people in all walks of life to use the talents and opportunities presented to them to shine the light of Jesus to those around them. “There are no crumbs on God’s table,” Kathie Lee says, “no matter what you have, even if it seems small, God will use it.”

Out of the film is a book Gifford wrote with Rabbi Jason Sobel that you can pre-order today called The God of the Way. Through their efforts of bringing the Jewish culture of the Bible to life through media, the pair believe it will open people’s eyes to understand what Scripture means based on the culture of the day it was written. {eoa}
