4 Biblical Truths to Navigate the Road to Your Better Life

In this day of so much uncertainty, we can often find ourselves carrying around extra worry and anxiety, which can then put us into fear, steal our joy and affect us in a negative way. It’s no wonder many Christians are asking the question: Is this all there is? There must be a better way … a better life. Well, the good news is this: There is!

Jesus said in John 10:10 that He came to give us life—abundant life. This abundant, joyful life in Him is what Jesus died for on the cross. He sacrificed His life so that we might enjoy salvation, good health and having our needs met. Fear, worry and stress are not what God wants for His children. His desire is for us to be in health and prospering in all area of our lives—spirit, soul and body (3 John 2).

I’ve learned that the road to a better life is paved with expectation. Expectation for what? Expectation for God’s miracles.

If you find yourself having trouble successfully navigating the many twists and turns of everyday problems and circumstances, I want to share a few reminders from God’s Word that I believe can help guide you down a straighter path as you travel your own road to a better life.

4 Biblical Truths for Navigating the Road to Your Better Life

1. God cares about you and all that concerns you. Psalm 35:27 says God delights in the prosperity of those who serve Him. No matter where you are in life right now, or what you’ve done or not done, God cares about you. He is in the now of your life, and He’s for you, not against you.

2. God knows you, and He wants you to know Him and who you are in Him. In Christ, you are a new creature; the old things are gone, and everything is new (2 Cor. 5:17). In Him, you can do all things because He gives you strength (Phil. 4:13. In Him, you are the head and not the tail, above and not beneath (Deut. 28:13), and in Jesus, you are bold and have access to Him because of the confidence of your faith (Eph. 3:12).

3. God will multiply and return the seeds of faith you sow unto Him. God will always see that you have seed to sow and bread to eat (2 Cor. 9:10). As a giver, your seeds—whatever is in your hand to give in faith … time, talents or resources … will be miraculously multiplied back to you (Luke 6:38).

4. God is your healer. Jesus was beaten to purchase your healing, and by His stripes you are healed (1 Pet. 2:24). God anointed Jesus with power to heal you (Acts 10:38), and He wants you to be healed (see Ps. 103:3, 107:20, 147:3).

These biblical truths are timeless and powerful. If you are seeking a fuller, richer, more abundant and joy-filled life, I encourage you to release your faith today and begin to expect the unexpected from God. I believe He has a miracle with your name on it!
