Road’s blend of soft-rock with hints of country and contemporary pop
perfectly complements lead singer Jenny Simmons’ solid vocals. The theme
of Stories is perseverance and trusting God—truths put to the
test in band members’ lives. “Fight Another Day” hit home after the
band’s RV burned: “Will you walk away when the fire gets hot, or fight
another day?” The title track is a peppy reminder of God’s refinement.
“This Little Light,” reminiscent of the children’s song, offers hope.

Road know well from experience.
